PerishEvil Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 I'm curious, does anyone know about hakumen's new distortions? if i'm correct they are called: Empty Sky True Form: Flow of the Four Seasons, and Empty Sky Form: Firefly's Infernal Rapture. from what i know firefly's rapture is the same thing as hazama's hotenjin but with hotaru.

And I'm talking about 5D. yeah the timing is reletivly strict. from what i can tell in order to pass through you have to be in the part of the animation where haku is leaning foward. if you don't start soon enough you'll get caught before you start leaning, and if you start to soon haku will rise from the leaning position right as the sword is over his head. now correct me if i am wrong but i belive that during the time hakumen is leaning forward, the hieght of his hitbox is ruduced, enabling him to avoid projectiles and such that would have hit him in the chest or head.

PerishEvil Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 that pretty much sums up fighting games in general: timing. once you get timing down things become quite simple, but actually getting the timing down can be fairly hard to down right rediculus. it literally took me the greater part of a year to get the timings for hakumen's BnB combo down.

Wander Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Toan left the room before i saw the final score, but it was one sided. I had never took more than 1 or 2 matches against Toan, some times was just total loss for me. so i was satisfied with my performance today

Can they block swords as good as you can? Me. We need to fix that soon. Have you ever played my hakumen, or have you only played my mu that one time? I think only your Mu. I'm pretty sure the only Hakumen I've played on XBL in the last year has been Mac. What's your ratio against them. It will be my new target. Koopa said he went 5-30+ against me. I forgot how well Wander did against me. I think he went 4-17 against me? The win-loss ratio doesn't matter much to me since I never felt that I was in complete control of the match against them.

toanenadiz Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I've only played 2 or 3 matches against Tectal's Hakumen. He typically uses Mu against me. And how plus was Tsubaki on block again? I blocked a few of Wander's and kept getting CH when I pressed buttons after it.
