Chun Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) ] I say 11, because people are ALWAYS, ALWAYS late, and there is more time for setups, socializing, and casuals. If you mean starting setup at 11, that's always happened. I'm liking the 2-3PM slot for brackets to star because it allows setups, lunch, and casuals to happen before the tournament starts so they don't become a problem for the tourney brackets because people get hungry and leave (Someone ran a tournament starting at 12PM and that didn't go very well). People choked down food and left constantly for eats and that left the event time in chaos because the setup and travel was so early. Also, with the inclusion of AH3 into the mix, later time is an issue; as of now we barely made the cut off of 10:30. I want to run the next month at SJSU so I can get a feel for how long the time will be for those brackets and the streaming schedule, as well as embellish upon the fact AH3 is a new game and that alone will bring people to watch the stream and attend the venue (The Campus Location will also bring in even more people since it'll be the beginning of the Semester, where the workload is light). The layout plan for the CS Club was also edited by me so that it isn't as crowded; main setups will be in the other classroom as well as the streaming equipment this time around, in a similar layout to DeVry. The CS Clubroom itself will host the casuals and other odd games. The positions are basically switched around. Once I get a better idea of how everything progresses next tournament, I'll get back on DeVry depending on the situation, because Game-Zone Recreation was a very good communication partner. An entire female anime cast, why the fuck not wouldn't it be doujin fighter. But whatever, people don't like that title so I took it off. I'm feeling for Haunts now. People black sheep the same problem to make themselves feel better, such as when he was streaming WCW3 and it kept crashing. It was nonstop "IPW IS FREE/CHEAP STREAM/I'M OUT". Now I'm being pelted with "Its not a doujin fighter" x 100. Even though Vanguard Princess was an original project, it wasn't made by some major corporation or business or anything. It still counts as doujin.

"People don't like that title"? Facts are facts and they must stay facts, this isn't a matter of personal labeling or off-handed commentary.
