blk_mage Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 If it's at GameCenter then the only logical choice is 2v2 gundam side tourny :P
BeaverDeity Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Gamecenter? That place was really fun, but I have a question. You said there will be two setups outside, are those consoles? I kinda suck on arcade stick, so... If those are consoles then that'd be great so I could hook up my pad to it. :o
Chun Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 The cabinets are PS3, so you can plug in your controller via USB.
dsmoove12 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 can you teach me how to play noel? No troll? =/
BeaverDeity Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 The cabinets are PS3, so you can plug in your controller via USB. Oh. I'd need help to find the USB port then, lol. I couldn't find it last time I was there :o This tournament is going to be SO HYPE it's not even funny
Crosell Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Can someone fly Tubazo out here to help beaver deity maximize his hype potiental
dsmoove12 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Can someone fly Tubazo out here to help beaver deity maximize his hype potiental Blazblue's official hype man (Besides Shadowfiend)
RagnaHades Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Some setups (READ AS: 2 At Most) will be outside. The cabinets will be set to play our games. There's also arrangements to solve any problems from authorities, we're all good. I'll be posting the rules and conditions tonight. ~Chun Chun just a quick question because I'm in Japan and missing out is Super NCI going to be the Last ? and where is it going to be held ?
BeaverDeity Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Chun just a quick question because I'm in Japan and missing out is Super NCI going to be the Last ? and where is it going to be held ? Not sure if it's the last tournament but it'll be in Gamecenter (An arcade) in San Mateo, IIRC
Chun Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 Chun just a quick question because I'm in Japan and missing out is Super NCI going to be the Last ? and where is it going to be held ? Super NCI is the beginning of Season 2 ranbats. Location is GameCenter, as I've said on the front lol. ~Chun
Dakanya Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Super NCI is the beginning of Season 2 ranbats. Location is GameCenter, as I've said on the front lol. ~Chun you mean season 3 right. because you know we didn't have blazblue at the first season which was the first year we hosted nci, when it was originally a gg/mb event only. also i understand you wanting to start the next season with bbcs2 out and all but this new season starting now should only be for bb. like last year's super nci, this should be the final ranbat for gg and mb's season or maybe we won't even bother starting a new season, who knows

Why not just postpone the starting of a new season for BB. Let MB and GG do their finals. Then we can all start fresh the following month.
BeaverDeity Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 It'll be awesome either way because NCI is awesome
Chun Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 I'm cool with running whatever the community wants. GG and BB still have large interest and will remain at least.

Then we can all start fresh the following month. i don't believe all the games need to be on the same season. also bbcs2 is a new game so you guys could have started it when you stopped playing cs1 imo but post-evo is a great time to start a new season as well
Sahgren Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I'm thinking of going to this, but Google Maps won't show me a route via public transit. Anybody passing through Rohnert Park, CA that's willing to give me a ride down?
totoroslayer Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I'm thinking of going to this, but Google Maps won't show me a route via public transit. Anybody passing through Rohnert Park, CA that's willing to give me a ride down? It's literally next door to the caltrain station. If you catch Caltrain to the Downtown San Mateo station, 50 more paces will bring you to the front door.

If you catch Caltrain to the Downtown San Mateo station, 50 more paces will bring you to the front door. Thanks, that's a big help. Now I just need to plan everything out for getting down and back up, and I should be able to go.

ZeroRaider Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 That mean its a good time to try a little MB???
hobbes Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Hi there. I am new to the tournament scene and my only access to fgs has been netplay. I am really interested in attending NCI on September 3rd for some casuals and watch some pros. I am travelling from North Bay so it is a little far to make the return trip home in the evening. If someone could lend me some floor space or any place I could crash would be great. I really appreciate the help.
