HiagoX Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I was looking for that video. That was seriously annoying. Anyway: Lucifer 2791 damage combo 3C loop <3 I was going to upload that 3C loop, boo. I find it funny that people are coming up with some high damage combos using meter, before figuring out BnBs and mix-ups to even get that meter. Feels like a bunch of steps have been skipped and it's already into combo videos. If I spend some more time on this game I'll post some Kanon/Shannon related stuff if someone doesn't already do it before me. That's because the Bnbs are quite easy. I'm pretty sure everyone have them figured out already, I've foound out Lucifer's in like, 5 minutes.

Due to the nature of the combo system, you can find nearly all the character's BnBs in a matter of minutes. Though I can see what you are saying about gimmicks that can be used for pressure or messing with your opponent. For example, Kanon can cross up with jB (and the way it works can make it really difficult for an opponent to guess). TK 214A/B/C can also be handy for catching people off guard and can be handy against zoners if timed right. 214A, when properly timed, can quickly lead into a throw or more pressure; and if the opponent starts to figure this out, you can use 214B/C to bait their reaction.
xlolxlolx Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 yeah i got my ps3 controller working and found sum stuff: 5B>2B>f.5C>DC>5B>2B>f.5C>236236C>taunt>forward jump>falling j.C>5B>2B>f.5C>DC>5B>2B>f.5C>236A/B/Cx4 the special will dizzy them and you get like 1950, you could go from f.5C>2C>meta>3C>meta special.....but it does like 200 dmg more....but it looks like it would be possible to juggle with 3C>f.5C in meta but i haven't really tested it yet
Linear04 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 hahahahahaha yo baiken you can extend your bnb AGAIN instead of meta-worlding right after you dizzy, you can do another and then meta-world > combo since it works pretty much like a RC. depends on what the initial attack after dizzy is because of pushback

Circuitous Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 It responds to the X and Y axis. Okay. X+ is right, X- is left, Y+ is up, Y- is down. The game looks for a POV hat for normal directional input, so you'll have to fake it.

Even by Melty Blood PC standards it's so easy. More will be up in about 2 hours providing Youtube doesn't kill me for copyright infringement. But yeah, it's pretty fun.
