Eh, it just seems to me that a major event is more of a spoiler than a character. Evatrice is a spoiler, I won't argue that, but it doesn't really spoil anything beyond the character, what she does and to who isn't spoiled at all.

Actions in a fighting game aren't very likely to reflect VN actions. Shannon's meta-world super just seems more... spoilerish I guess.

Anybody is free to tell him, It won't be me though.

I really, really want to play this game. It looks fantastic and a lot of fun.

I was planning on using the Ange/Lucifer from the start but now that I've seen what they're capable of already I want to use them even more.

Hopefully I can meet up with a friend who has it and play.

Many people who play Melty Blood haven't even read the novels, as a matter of fact.

Which makes me stupid sad.

Eh, the thing is: You don't have the slightest idea of what Shannon is doing or what it means in her metafield super if you haven't played the game, or have played just a little. Meanwhile, any retard who played enough (and by enough, I mean the point you meet Eva) knows that shit happens to Eva when they see Evatrice. You know, EVAtrice. If they aren't stupid enough to not be able to deduce it, they can pretty much deduce that she goes batshit just by noticing the way she acts.

Well, as I said, it's a fighting game and barely no one who plays it care shit about the novels. Again, Melty Blood feelings.

I think the spoilers are minimal even for someone who hasn't read the novels yet or has just gotten to around episode 1. Sure, they'll wonder who those characters are... and the shock of seeing them will be less by the time they do encounter them(Which is sad).

But, I think that anybody interested in this game should really give the novels a try. I feel like playing a fighting game like this without knowing it's heart is very sad. You can't ignore the heart!

Zephna, so how exactly does this whole hamachi thing work. do you have to set up a VPN in network settings or just enter a irc room.

After you install hamachi you join a hamachi room/network like the one i made and your good to go nothing else is needed. Then for netplay you use the hamachi ip of the host your joining

Ehh, depends.

Just say Virgilia's eyes don't open in any of the sprites. That'd be a damn travesty~

Still, I'm going to hop on Hiago's bandwagon and be sad about Tsukihime.

VAkiha is such massive spoils.

Ignoring the "heart" is the only way I can tolerate the game. Same with Melty Blood.

Hey, I've already given this game the best gift I could ever give: heartlessly tearing out and exposing its innards. Don't give me that shit.

You could at least have some kind of notice that the post was deleted by a mod. I thought my computer was screwing up.

I wasn't trolling. I was just saying that why would people want to delve deeper into the story when so many have gotten a pretty bad impression of this as a fighter.

For what it's worth, I hear it's much better as a VN than as a fighting game.

If you've read episodes 1-3 or watched most of the anime, most of what's in the fighting game shouldn't be spoilers at all (Ange is shown in the end of ep 3).

Though, the Chiester/Siesta sisters introduction animations are pretty damn spoiler lololol and I guess so is her animation for activating metaworld. That's the only thing I'll say really spoils beyond episode 1-3, but no one would get it unless they read up to ep 6-7 anyway.

Not that it matters, but I was wondering if there were any combo attempts with Chiester? She doesn't seem to combo oriented, especially since she's so limited up close.

I mainly use her for her ability, and if I can pull off her Meta-super I just spam arrow EXs to be annoying/guard break
