Some general things I keep in mind: - 6CD j.C doesn't work. - When going for oki, watch out for 2C happy Rachel players. (As an aside, I'm surprised no one has made a thread for this match-up. I guess Rachel is so bad that you will seldom see this mirror in a real tourney or something lol)
K2 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) u watch out for the time lets not get too crazy in this thread now that ur opponenet actually can't do shit, u can do wtever u want. who ever can't block loses, whoever knows their character more wins. just go all out attack to beat rachel u just have to study and level up ur rachel like u don't mash when u are cornerd by 236a and u know u are out ranged ( or u don't have range) when u c 3 pole in the corner u will try not to stay there too long u don't random burst if u get hit by 2aaaaa who ever has more wind has better advantage ...etc 5-5 Edited November 24, 2010 by K2

Jason D. Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 6CD j.C does instead work on a standing grounded Rachel opponent. It didn't work in CT, but she secretly got taller in CS. And if your opponent likes to 2C a lot, start poking with 5B. 5B will clash the cat chair, easily, and leave her open for your best punish. Obviously, like any mirror, you have the same exact advantages that your opponent will. I think the big thing to keep in mind is that Rachel's corner lock-down works extremely well on another Rachel. So try to get him there before he gets you there. Also, the beginning of every round will be 236A+D. No exceptions! (Nothing Rachel has can get around this.) If two lobelias aren't bouncing off each other, one of the Rachels isn't doing it right.
