12/11/10 as stated on the topic title! I will add it to the post too.

also, a lot of csulb anime club like this game but don't really know how to get into it. It would be cool if u guys can show them the way or I guess just take ur money .. ur call =)

Also, if the patch comes out before this by like early friday then I'm going to update to patch version. If it's after that then I might not be able to. Probably the patch will be out before that though

So this is this saturday?

Who's going for BB? (I don't want to go to like a 10 man tournament...) :[

Also, 60/30/10? D:

:psyduck:

I heard Brett was going to this lol. Well, it's not too far from my house, so I might come if I have nothing else to do Saturday.

How does 50% off work from a tournament perspective though? I don't know how many top class gamers attend CSULB, but they seem to be contributing less to the pot with an equal chance of winning. Or was it only 50% off of venue fee? Confusion!

The discount fee for students is there because this is technically an event for students. It jsut so happen that non students are coming you know? At CSULB, we can't host events aimed for non students cause it doesn't benefit the students. So the disconut fee is there to make it feels like a student aimed event. If you want discount or raffle tickets then please a set up to help us run better.

Also, making the fee cheaper doesn't mean less total pot. Some people I know (and you probably know) wont enter at $5 because its just "free money to the pros". But at a lesser fee, they will enter cause it's cheap and now you just got a bigger pot sicne they weren't going to enter. SO yeah, it can be bigger or lower pot.

Lastly, if the aptch were to release now till tournament time, it be too late to get it and install at school so we're using the CS1 version.

If you ahve any question or suggestion, feel free to let me know. I'm always open for new idea since I'm running these things for u and the csulb students.

patch won't be released for months, I wouldn't worry about that.

are people actually going to this?

who's going?

I appreciate you trying to get more people to come, but it does seem a little odd to give a discount to people you know, and no discount to everyone else, you know what I mean? :sweatdrop:

Even with the best intentions, it could easily be perceived as otherwise
