gameclucks Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 If there is enough interest I would be willing to add BB and GG as per the Side Event rule in the 1st post. Interest = 15+ ppl would show up for each game and bring set ups for them
Veteru Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I never thought I'd be glad to see BlazBlue or Guilty Gear categorized as "Side Events". Thanks for this consideration. I'm sure there are several people on this forum that would want to attend and only enter BB/GG, so it works perfectly for us. On a side note, for anyone considering whether or not to attend this. I've met the person in charge of Gameclucks and he's a true professional. I have high expectations for this event, so I'd like to encourage anyone who can make it to attend.
RavenOmni Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I've also been interning at Gameclucks and can further vouch for Veteru's statement. Make it happen people!
gameclucks Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 So sort of need some idea on if we are going to do this or not? If so I would update the OnLine Reg to get it started and want to announce it all over the place... What I did for HDR and 3S was $10 per game (50% goes to prize pool as the venue fee almost everyone pays is $10ish) but would not include a chance to get a NBA Game Tix. OR $30 for entry in both games with about $7.50-$10 per entry going to each prize pool (so $15-$20 of the $30 goes to prizes) and a chance to get a NBA Tix. I could set up the exact same situation for GG/BB. We would need the community to bring COMPLETE set ups though (just like the HDR/3S guys). Need some sort of interest measure ASAP though to get this added to the schedule.
gameclucks Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Registration Contest from now until Wed Dec 8th at Midnight PST The game with the most registrations between now and Wed @ Midnight gets $250 addt prize pool money. ^^^^^^^^^^ This applies to the $30 entry option only... so yet another reason to hit me up QUICK so you all could qualify for the bonus $250
huey253 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 is blazblue happening? If so, at what time? Thanks
gameclucks Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 So that is up to you all if its happening. I have to get some sort of head count so that I can plan for it. I need to know by Monday if you all want it to happen and I need some sort of approx head count so I can plan it. On Monday I have my meeting with the Venue to plan the floor space out. So you all tell me, we doing it or not? Please do not make me plan floor space if you are not going to show. There is a business cost to reserving it on my end.
gameclucks Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 ALSO JUST ADDED is a Black Ops FFA event, free entry, $250 prize pool!
huey253 Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I will be going if enough people show interest in BLAZBLUE. POST GUYS IF YOU WANT TO GO
haketh Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I'm wiling to enter into BB, just need a ride down.
Kuuhaku Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) SUPPORT THE SCENE. And yeah, I'm in. I'll be done with school by then. Question- Do you mind if we bring equipment to record and/or stream? We wouldn't mind having these be used for other events too (just we'd need another computer to save the videos on since they're really high res). Edited December 12, 2010 by Bohemian Polka
Nakkiel Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Guess I'm down for going. I just need to figure out money.
Foosey Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 If people brought bbcs on the 360 i would enter.
huey253 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 it seems oregon scene is unintrested in showing up, so there is no point for washington to drive all the way down here. sadness
gameclucks Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 Unfortunately it does look that way.... Sorry GG and BB were an afterthought by me on this event. Next one I will try and plan them into it from the get go. I will hold a table open for GG/BB if people show. Pricing will be as follows: $10 Entry for GG (no NBA Tix) - 50% to Prize Pool/50% to Venue $10 Entry for BB (no NBA Tix) - 50% to Prize Pool/50% to Venue If you pay the $30 Entry you are entered for the NBA Tix and a larger portion of the entry fee will go to Prize Pool (about 35% venue, 65% to Prize pools) If you pay the $30 for some other game (like SSF4 lets say), then GG and BB are +$5 to enter with all $5 going to Prize Pool (since I get my venue from the $30 for SSF4 or whatever) You can record. Prob can not Live Stream though as I have 3 or 4 LS's already scheduled to be going. YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING COMPLETE SET UPS (we have no extra equip, same deal with HDR and 3S)
RavenOmni Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 For those unable to make the TourneyPlay Portland Event, I will still be hosting a Tournament at Gameclucks if enough people come. Chaoschao222 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Hmm, if I get my poor self some extra money, I may show up... guess I'll figure it all out later today...
