Is there a way to get audio from both the game and the mic without having the game noise be too overtaking of the commentary? Also if I do get a capcard for Christmas, then I might need some help using it the first few times recording finals at ranbats (like HnK). I would appreciate any help you would offer.

And LOL at the Litchi message. Her BnB's last just about as long as curse loops anyway, it seems.

I'd be willing to help and/or experiment with setting that kind of stuff up. Won't be here at the 18th though.

I don't know if you could use a microphone, plug it into the 360 controller, and have that play like a mic on the 360 while going into BB's sound options and turning all sounds low... I don't use a mic so I don't know if it would work offline.

The trick to using a capture card on TVs is that you need two feedbacks, one into the TV and another into the capture card, if we used component cables for BB or anything with a connected spare set of A/V, then I would use my capture card, but often times there are only one A/V set or the TV doesn't have an input set of A/V.

Our required set up for using capture cards is much more than just a capture card if we're gonna be using an old school CRT.

So it should work, we will know more when skye gets out the bed from banging his GF.

Not quite comprehending all of that, but looking around at capture card setups involves using splitters for video/audio.

edit - and IMO adding the extra audio of the commentary is not that hard, mostly just matching up the audio with the video.

One thing I just thought of when thinking about using the 360 mic is that there could be feedback.
