I don't see anything wrong with netplay if it'd help you work on the basics... on a decent connection.

It also helps with matchup experience. Although it won't be the optimal means of getting better (for obvious reasons), it would be foolish for someone to neglect such a resource (I know you can't, but when you get xbl again, then we'll play online as well as offline).

EDIT- Just make sure you play good players to avoid getting into bad habits (best case scenario).

I've been only playing netplay until CS came out.

Luna's pretty good despite this.

Also, I've never played offline for Blazblue. Ever. My negative reputation is probably known more than anything else about me, but I'd like to consider myself one of the better online players. I'm aware that it might not be saying much, but at least I'm working on hitting the local/tourney scene soon.

AFAIK the entire speed of the game has changed. Its probably fine for the basic idea. If anything timing variations might be needed? I don't even own AH2. I've played AH maybe 3 times so in all reality, I'll be the free one. I need to go into BB training mode, put input display on and practice Penting. Ferreal.

yeah.. it's better than nothing I guess, especially chars that don't slow the game down (much).

In all fairness AH3 is probably faster than AH1/2 no matter what.. AH2 is more similar to 3 than 1 so it's good in some ways, but the awful slowdown definitely hampers things.. especially for playing actual matches. I hear certain chars with certain arcanas aren't totally unplayable though.
