I'm also questioning whether I should choose to burst bait with Rachel more or not because that tech + IAD after getting hit by defensive burst can be of more use to Rachel if she has wind.

gli Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 (edited) Against Makoto the air combo chosen was a jc7 j.B j.C ender with no j.236A. Just back off and resume zoning. Lots of 2B approaches too. Parry safe. Smart play. No corner combo was really ever finished though. I think he was playing really safe against Makoto. I know from experience that landing 5CC on Makoto is tricky sometimes. Often times I drop corner combo allowing her to escape. Zero-risk play seems smarter :D Name in-game is 「キャーロチヤサーン」 and OH MAN he totally just ran away after corner BBL against Ragna lol. TD Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 you actually cant do 3c iris 3c on makoto, so one would have to end the combo prematurely. hopefully this will get fixed. against ragna that 7d was an input mistake most likely. l agree though he was pretty solid. cant say the same about the makoto or ragna though, so who knows. l thought the guy was Uate since he plays the black rach.

Any mistakes please point them out as I haven't tested these yet. 1:33's AH setup looks like a legitimate combo. I've only ever tried that as a silly unblockable astral setup, but it looks like the pumpkin can combo off of frog for long enough to carry your opponent into your astral. At 1:57 and 2:09 (and 3:17), I'm not sure that there's a double-jump involved after the superjumps. It doesn't really look like it. Then again, I'm not sure if you meant 'double-jump' with the 'jc' notation there, so I may be misreading it. For the 2:53 combo, it looks like a C-lobelia is fired when George activates, but I can't be entirely sure without testing it. edit: A note about the 0:46 combo against Noel: In order to land both the j.A and j.C, you have to jump cancel the 5B into a forward jump. This can also be used to land j.A against Litchi when she's crouching. Slower than a straight-up 2D j.A, but also more reliable in many situations. Edited August 24, 2011 by Tari
