Enix V. Nimbus Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 (edited) That's not a good combo for the corner. Venom sword > dash 5C > jC > j.Cx5 > land 5C > jC > j.Cx5 215B is a much better option. Doesn't jumping after C and into another C a little too high for you to land into another 5C? Edit: Okay, it does a slightly bit more damage. And I added Serpent's Infernal Rapture to Devouring Fang after the Venom Sword again. Edited May 21, 2011 by Enix V. Nimbus
ZeroRaider Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Hello there, im having trouble with these: Jakou after j.8D. Jakou just wont reach, but I heard I need to delay something, either is 4D/6D or j8D, I dont know... 5C 6C after Jakou Its a combo from #9 challenge I believe, opponent techs right before the 6C connects... Later... You really gotta adjust and experiment for this kinda thing, doing the same thing over and over isn't going to complete the challenge.
Guymam Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 (edited) I've found a slight delay in the 4.D works pretty good. Also, don't let the 2nd part of the 5c connect. Pick them up with 5c then immediately 6C. Edit: Changed 6D to 4D. Lack of sleep. Edited May 21, 2011 by Guymam
Zeron_X25 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Guymam's statement is right expect when you're in the corner. And by that, I mean after a Jayoku in the corner into a backwards 6C. You can cancel on the 2nd hit then. Not sure how it works but... yeah.
Tong Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I already got it. I know i have to do 5C(1) 6C Bang was teching before 6C, the solution? Do a Level2 Zan'eiga, better proration. For the Jakou after j.8D, you need to delay 6D~A and 4D~A, like when you see the snake's bitting, wait 10 or so frames. If you wait too much, the 4D will completely miss. Then, wait for dummy to fall A LITTLE after j.8D(backjump) then Jakou.
Zeron_X25 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I do 6D and 4D as fast as possible and delay the Jakou.
xlolxlolx Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 lol you can just delay 4D and theyll be far back enough for the rest to connect without any delays
kazukifafner Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 For the Jakou after j.8D, you need to delay 6D~A and 4D~A, like when you see the snake's bitting, wait 10 or so frames. If you interrupt the dash midway with 5C, then you only need to delay Jakou.
PhoenonX Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I pretty much always use j.7D instead of j.8D in his 6D-A, 4D-A combos. Whenever I attempted j.8D the chain doesn't reach long enough and has no hitstun at all for Jakou to land.
LeFartknocker Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 j.7D is definitely easier IMO, just get it down to a rythm and it should start to come pretty naturally, after watching some JPN Hazama matches it only took me 5 or so tries to get it...
Eclipse Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 It's not that difficult to get 6D~A, 4D~A, j.7D~A, > Jakou. It's exactly as Kazukikafner said, depending on when you use 5C. Regardless, it'll come down to muscle memory, and it's much easier than CS1. The biggest problem is doing it during even the slightest lag. I usually opt out for the regular j.214B# followup.
