huey253 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Did some research. Turns out Dora been pulling in his own group of people. On the jp wiki I found someone with this as their sig: googlefish tooo Source: http://www14.atwiki.jp/sisigamibangu/pages/152.html I checked the PSR rankings for Bang. The first place is: かなた@マスヤマイレブン and the second place is なんでなんで@マスヤマイレブン <-- also first place Noel Second one is the Bang from the video Huey likes. So who is this first place Bang you ask?! Our favorite Bang troll, Dora. Have fun looking for matches cause he's changing his name too often. Digging through nico I found out he went by ラストリベリオン for a good while. Even Japan is confused it seems. Reading through Nico comments is more entertaining than Youtube . Dat Dora Cult you know, it was funny because i was telling someone that this bang was like dora if he didn't troll... how ironic hahaha
Leo7 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 that bang shows up once in the recent acho vids (possibly more, but I didn't watch everything). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpb0OisbiFI#t=40m18s I remember being confused because he had such high PSR, and was doing so well against Galileo but I had never heard of him before lol.
stinkymonz Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Dio playing Mu is not really wtf. There were vids of him playing Nu in CT. And as a failed Carl player, I can totally understand (and share) the appeal of Mu.
Jourdal Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) I probably went wtf because last time we saw him he was doing "shitty" combos, was expecting some time chamber karuru action. BTW, the hazama in that video isnt R1...im pretty sure him and buppa are trolling because R-1's nesica profile has buppas name in it while buppa has the reverse. You can tell by the stats. (and the one with buppa in his name has never touched hazama lol) Edited April 11, 2011 by Jourdal
xntrikcat Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hmmm, I've seen that tag Dio is using before. Tsunugui-man. I think he may have moved on to Mu? Though he really didn't put up a good fight vs buppa. btw, lol @ R-1 using buppa's tag + black noel
zaeris Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hmmm, I've seen that tag Dio is using before. Tsunugui-man. I think he may have moved on to Mu? Though he really didn't put up a good fight vs buppa. btw, lol @ R-1 using buppa's tag + black noel I have to say his Mu is rather interesting, while nothing new he did took it a new level of trolling which can be a legit style of forcing your opponent to chase you coupled with Mu AA option it provides a solid strategy plus every push back option goes into 214d. Now I just need more vids of Dio (Mu) vs top PSR holder.....
Nini Heart Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Is that Goro the gdlk Lambda player from CS1? Hehe he's pretty gdlk with Koto too. Tier whoring isn't all that bad apparently lol. Only Makoto I've seen with Tsuji doing proper J.B CH combos. He's giving I.D too much respect though. He should just parry that shit instead of IADing back.
Jourdal Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Yeah it's the same Goro who was a godlike CS1 Lambda. We have Tsukasa for all of our DDDDDDDDDDD needs anyway.
TD Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 whats funny is that the way dio played mu is the way mu should be played. normally you'd have to play steins in a controlled order (4d for midrange, 2d for air assaults etc), but vs haz scattered works best. not only that but a good mu is a lame one. playing her 'honorably' will only get you so far. l hope dio spams his way to greatness.
xntrikcat Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I agree dio's style's interesting. He did well vs. that rachel player. It's just that Buppa is so gdlk and kept Dio real honest with dem chains.
stinkymonz Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Dio seemed to lose a lot of spunk against Buppa. I mean, against the first Hazama you could see immediately the moment he got the space he'd just HIKARI! TSURUGI! SHIMESHI! x n. And then Buppa comes and even with space he doesn't do it or try very hard to. And not as much SURPRISE 623C either. I think he either got nerves fighting the name, or was already traumatised by a previous bad encounter.
TD Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 he knows that he has to respect buppa. buppa knows what hes doing in general against anyone, and on top of that haz is still mu's worst matchup, probably. dosent help that he does soviet damage now. l dont think hime-san has ever fought a good mu before, l was heartbroken D:

Apparently, both Tsujikawa and Goro were the ones to develop CS1 Makoto, so it makes sense both of them would change their mains.
Jourdal Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 You're right, i know tsuji made a godlike makoto combo video but i just remembered when tachikawa had their console troll fests goro picked makoto then too.
Nini Heart Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 That was only unlims though. Never seen goro play Makoto, but from the way he plays her in CS2, i can't doubt it.
OmniSScythe Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Goro Makoto's looks really good, just wish he confirmed those 5B into 5-6k instead just dash 5A. Dx
TD Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 @katz, l will admit l think your ragna is pretty amusing. he certainly dosent look 'press bcd you did a combo' when l see him, lol
The Katz Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 The main reason why I picked him up in the first place was just to do fancy combos and experiment to see how many I could make on my own. I was told that silly combos were impractical to do in actual matches, so I practiced them until I could do them effortlessly on the fly. I've been getting lazy up until recently and just rely on a few BnB's, but after playing against certain people a week or two ago I have been working back into my roots. Waste 50 or 100 meter for flare and 6B oki all day. It's harder to do against people who "pro-tier auto-pilot to extents". No room for games when all you're really doing is playing one.
soujiro seta Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) So since CS2 is coming out on may 10th, is the evo list going to be updated to CS2 instead of 1 just like it was for SSF4 console to AE console? Edited April 14, 2011 by soujiro seta
Airk Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 So since CS2 is coming out on may 5th, is the evo list going to be updated to CS2 instead of 1 just like it was for SSF4 console to AE console? They kinda don't have to. On consoles, it's still going to be CALLED "BlazBlue: Continuum Shift" with no "2". It'll just be software version 1.03. And, well, it's pretty much a given that Evo will be running whatever the latest version of their games are, I would think.
Jourdal Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Mr. Wizard said if DLC/Updates were up before a certain point then they would update for EVO, seeing as AE is out AFTER CS1 and was announced to be replacing Super at Evo i can't see why not.
huey253 Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) technically its only out in japan in may. they would have to buy jp copies of bbcs to run it. doesn't seem like a TOO big of an issue. its just that, the level of play will be so much lower if its CS2 Edited April 14, 2011 by huey253 spelling error
Kurushii Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 It has to come out at least one month before Evo starts to be considered as the version used. The patch will be global on May 10/12 so really it just depends if Aksys can release the Platinum dlc on time (not to mention pray no service delays the patch or dlc *looking at you m$*).
