Currently some problems with getting my stick to work and I'm missing some dll files for the emulator, but it is a work in progress. On another note, I'm actually very interested in that Texas major thats coming up. You know, the one that has the first tournament for Skullgirls as a major or whatever? I was wondering if anyone from NJ was going there and if someone wanted to split a room to save money. I haven't traveled too much so anything else I, or we, could do to cut expenses would be nice. Also, I wouldn't really want to be in Texas alone without anyone I knew, so it'd be nice to know if I had fellow jersey people going. Are you talking about Anime Matsuri/Texas Showdown? I'm going with huey253 and I've already gotten us a room. I'm getting in pretty late (10 PM-ish) that Thursday night, April 5th. Let me know if you want in. I check out Sunday morning/afternoon.

I might pick up Shen and Mr. Karate for lulz and others. I really REALLY like this game for reasons I don't know. I got the PSN copy if anyone wants to netplay sometime. My college net is pretty damn strong.

Usually I just let people stay in my room for free if it means they'll be able to make it. The room for 3 nights cost me around 400 total ($120/night + tax). If we split that 3 ways it's about 130 a night. If 130 is asking too much then just give me w/e you want. I don't judge. Huey is probably the best Bang player in the US. He's from Washington State.

That's a shame though, would've been awesome to have more NJ/NY players playing KoF. Though even then I'm not even complaining here, GG's my main game and I wouldn't want to tamper with Jersey scene at all. A group of people dedicated to playing GG all in one state RIGHT nearby sounds pretty damn good to me. I consider you lucky for being nearby dedicated GG players and fairly close too... netplay and training mode can only go so far. As for the Kumate, I looked into it and I can't make it. Even if I had the money and skipped a class to get there on time I'd be out of a place to stay til the next day where the trains back in Boston would be running again. Luckily I'll get to stream monster that shit though still a little salty that I'm missing out on offline KoF. I need to hunt down some PSN KoF netplayers with good connections... I even made netplay palettes. My Barney Clark is GUARANTEED to incite either rage and salt or massive lulz.

It would be $130 PER PERSON for the whole weekend. That's Thursday night - Sunday afternoon. If you're staying less than 3 nights then you pay less. Honestly, don't feel bad if you can't pay me now. You can pay me back in the future, I won't hunt you down or anything. I don't see a problem with your friend staying with us, but we will only have 2 beds: a queen bed and a pull-out couch. That's 2 per bed which is actually pretty nice compared to other tournaments (read: NEC). BTW, our hotel is a mile away from the venue. The hotel where Texas Showdown and Anime Matsuri are was booked full by the time I got around to booking a room and flight. I got the next best thing.
