GGs to all who showed... I didn't get a chance to hop on BB since I was truobleshooting and running setups myself, but I will get at least a few matches in next time... I need a refresher course for real...

Definitely enjoyed playing MB and VSav with you guys though... We probably would've had more people playing that if I had that running earlier... That might become a possibility if the interest is there... I don't expect people clawing their way to get on some MB anyway...

I'll keep coming back for Melty and I'll start looking into Vampire Savior. Those games are definitely fun even if i'm just mashing 2a. Jinx, you're also welcome to come to frubble on fridays, I know we have some people interested in melty that can't make it out on mondays.

By some sort of Christmas Miracle, PSN updated super early today. so I'll have Skullgirls on my PS3 tonight in case we want to run a setup of that.

Also, I know it's tuesday and a lot of us are busy tonight, but if it's possible for you to make it out to Frubble tonight, we could really use the support. I think tonight is a great opportunity for our scene.

I got Skullgirls as well, but can't make it out tonight since I have a Computer Engineering papework to finish by tomorrow. Most likely Friday though.

That would be me! Sorry for being scrubby, I was picking subs since I didn't know how much you knew about the game. Did you like it? You seemed to be getting the basics down.

Good stuff tonight guys. I think we should keep going back on Tuesdays if people keep being available, since there seems to be at least a little interest in our group, and repeat appearances will let them see that we're serious about getting our games out there.

I really like Skullgirls so far. I like basically everything about it except the character designs but I'm willing to overlook them because the game itself is so fun.

I like it, I think its fun. But I can definitely feel the strong MvC influence in it and I am not a fan of that. I probably won't play the game seriously.

Ok I've been thinking...

Frank said we need to think of changing some of the games on the posters, so I think that we should drop VS and P4A (for now) and add KoF from both posters to bring in more people since I know there's a some people from Box wants KoF as a tournament.

What do you guys think?

I was thinking drop VS and P4A (until it comes out) and add Melty, but if we want to add KoF to the poster, I know Wallice plays and I would at least try to learn some things in it. So I'm fine with that idea, but also add Melty Blood.

I'd like to know the reason why.

I mean, some of those games are things that are obviously going to occur in the future, like Persona and the GG re-release, but in my mind that is no reason not to put the word out now so that people know where to go in San Diego to play them when they hit. Alternatively, if he is worried that saying we play game x or game y won't get turnout to our event, that's nice but what are we going to replace them with? The whole point that this is a Dustloop thing, so it makes sense to advertise the games discussed here. Its not like we're gonna add something like Marvel to our lineup which none of us play in order to get more people who, in turn, will not play the games we actually care about. If we do want to drop something, I'd say drop Vsav since though they have a forum on this board, we haven't really interacted with that community (if it even exists here) so I can see why it would seem presumptuous of us to add it. By the same token, if we want to include things like KoF or Melty, we should probably ask around at the sites dedicated to those games to make sure we aren't stepping on anybody's toes. Though personally, since I actually play KoF, I'd love to co-opt it.

But remember, the Box Arena isn't the one who is decides what we have at our event, which is what the poster is meant to advertise. Ultimately I say leave it as it is.

EDIT: Watermelonz, I'm assuming you're coming Friday. Can you let me know if Buddy is coming too?
