Jigoku_Roa Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'll be coming tomorrow, but I'll be late as usual since I have to practice and go to Carlsbad Saturday morning for a demonstration. Same for next week also. I'll be practicing SG, finding out the reality of the game that I can't really use Valentine solo anymore and it's unpractical to do anything with her solo with her tactics. In need of finding a teammate with her now. (leaning towards to Filia) Unknown if I can make it to BSL on Tuesday depending on work.

We are getting enough people on Fridays now that we can actually do that. Thank you to all of you for showing up and making this happen. Our Stylish Unlimited tournament was way more fun and way more hype than I thought it would be. Like Glod said, next week we'll be running an actual tournament. $5 entry fee, like normal. Shtkn, if you could record it, that would be great. Maybe if we get enough people we can do a side tournament for skullgirls. But since a good amount of people should be at T.T.F. maybe you guys want to come down for casuals. Cody has plenty of CRT's. Though asus's would be appreciated. Anywho, TTF is open tonight. Come on by.

And I've been messing around with Stylish Unlimited Noel for a bit and I had no idea she had so many tools to practically keep her opponent out of her face all day, had I known that before the tournament, I might've won hahaha. Also, I'd like to have my local Gamestops post up our flyer but I can't find the image and I'm too lazy to dig through this thread, can anybody find the link please?

shtkn Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 i have some news regarding the 'sd house'. basically, my current tenants are going to stay another year, and i don't want to kick anyone out, so that plan is out the window for at least a year. buddy, depending on how things go, they might need someone for the summer, which would work for you. i'm supposed to meet up with them on thursday and friday night, so i'll have more details then. also, i'm going to be late this friday. dana, you might need to get another ride if you don't want to show up hours late.

KoF is doing good, but I know a bunch of you guys are on SG and while there was some hype for it, not too many people played it last Monday, so come and show some love for that solid fighter!!! Also, Roa (assuming you're the guy I fought last time I was @ Frubble), you're Valentine is legit man... Sure, you lose out on mixup opportunities and such with only one character, but at the very least you've got a great air dash, crazy crossups, and on knockdown, you better be doing 214+P at least and stay medicating those opponents, because that obviously helps make up for a lack of a partner imo... I could go indepth, but this should suffice... If you weren't the person I fought @ Frubble, then my bad... This joint I typed still applies though...

It's basically near shtkn's house and Mitsuwa. IIRC, Mitsuwa has a corner that sells Gunplas as well but they have a way smaller collection for sale though and it's mainly HGs and two super expensive PGs that I am obviously not purchasing ever in my lifetime.
