There's no Labrys figure unfortunately. Anyway I just sent an e-mail to Rising Sun, we'll see where it goes from there.

I actually saw that just before heading up to the meetup yesterday.

I was already well aware of what was mentioned and was even thinking about making my own "Beginner Yukiko" video.

Maybe after I learn to extend my combos with EX Maragi juggles though. I'd love to do 4k damage off of 25 meter.

couldnt make it on friday ;~:. I do have some news though.

There is a new and upcoming venue in the SD fight scene known as the SD saltmines. The location it's being held is at the pangea bakery in kearny mesa. The parking might get a bit tight since the lot small so i suggest to just park out in the streets instead. ALL games are welcome as long as the setups the provided. Lately P4U has sparked alot of interest down south in the national city area of the fgc (yes. the capcom the kof players basically). people are playing it ;]

=So in a nutshell

-new venue to currently fill in for frubble at the time being

-Venue is the Pangea bakery in kearny mesa. Meetings are from 6-10pm on MONDAYS. Aug 12 is the opening day

-For P4 players, people are picking up this game but aren't aware of the dustloop side of the SD fgc. Please come out and support!

-All games are welcome as the setups are provided. You may run side tournies of your own if you wish.

one last note: I really do believe that separation in our scene is bad. it does'nt matter if we play street fighter, marvel, blazblue, p4 , kof, skullgirls, soul calibur, tekken etc etc etc. I personally dont know this guy running the saltmines but why dont we all use it as a hub to get together and play some fighting games? Will send this msg out to every community.

Also the bakery has a backroom if they have to use it. they say that if needed it may accomodate people in the triple digits. Its actually a location known for this for because businesses will occasionally rent it out to hold regional type conferences (like prepaid legal or w/e) and they hold live music events as well.

-lets grow all grow the sd fight scene together. Why should LA be the only city that gets close to 100 people for each bracket for each game (including P4)?

hope you guys can make it out. B-RAi (yun and cammy player in sf4AE2012, rolento/ law/lars in sfxt, Mitsuru and yukiko in P4, former BB player using bang (you might have seen me before. idk), Natsu in Soul calbur 5, K/yuri/kula in kof)

My classes end at 6pm on Monday, and it'll take at least an hour and a half for me to get there by MTS. I'll try my best to show up, I'm interested.

Now the question is who will be bringing setups for P4A? As much as I'd love to bring my PS3, I don't have a monitor unfortunately. :v:

-My friend and i will be bringing one for sure (a ps3 and a monitor), i myself have a 360 that im willing to bring out but theres no portable monitor for it sadly

-Jigoku_Roa might be able to make it out. If so then he will bring a set up

-Maku (sf and marvel player, and now p4) if he can make it out then we can expect a 360 setup of p4 from him

-Bakermann (sf, kof player, and now p4) if he can make it out then he will have a 360 setup

-Casey (sf, and p4 player) if he can make it out then he might or might not bring a 360 setup (i have not confirmed this with him yet)

so everything is kind of up in the air right now depending who can or cant go.

but i will say that 1 setup is guaranteed atm

And I just went 2-10 against glod's Kanji, what the hell happened to me? I should've stopped being nice and completely zoned you out lol. :vbang:

So after the Sunday tournament at Super Arcade I've decided that I'm playing this game wrong. I need to switch to Mitsuru.

Also, if there is a meetup this Friday, I can't make it, because Revelations is this weekend. I hope some of you guys registered and can make it. It should be pretty fun.

I dunno why you don't just do that in the first place hahaha.

I went to a local meetup today that was mostly Capcom people but everyone's playing P4A now. It's kinda cool that even the non-anime people play this. I feel like I would've never played with those dudes otherwise. So many Mitsurus and Chies though. Also Kanjis that are better than me. I learned a few things though, so that's what matters.

For some reason, I can manage Mitsurus more than Yus. :v:

And cool that shtkn's going, I guess that means you can bring Watermelonz as well? Gonna do my best to go as well.

we got sticks ;]. yeah sry about that if its a bit inconvenient. if you didn't know already, the main reason behind our usage of the 360 is because AE2012 is an imperfect port. the 360 version is the closest to the arcade board and the ps3 one lags. theres also an issue with marvel but idk cuz i dont play that game. were not entirely happy with capcom either haha........ and i know frubble used ps3 but that was decided upon bcuz evo uses ps3s and so forth.

Completely understandable. And it goes without saying that if anybody needs to use my PS3 TE Chun Li stick, I'd be happy to let them use it. :)

Anyway, I hope nothing comes up and I'll be able to go.
