Try to play BB like you were playing SSF4, in terms of mindset, and not jumping predictably into anti-airs.

I've been playing more SSFIV than BB (well okay, only SSFIV >_>...), and it really doesn't translate well. SSFIV's footsies are really different because the movements are stiffer and not as sloppy as BB. My spacing has gotten much better on SSFIV but that ain't the same for BB . And lol, you being possibly Montreal's free'est? When my mom tells me I have a twin brother, yes >_>. Depends how you play SSF4 but SSF4 is fucking intense and much more footsie heavy. I always feel like my fundamentals are better in BB after playing SF. I think you guys are underestimating what 4 months without playing a game can do.

Once again DC fails, the complaints I've been hearing is that it's what Thor wasn't basically. Stay untalented DC. The Stark Resilient arc feels like Iron Man 2 lol. Loved Iron Man 2, so not a problem, just funny. Will read Manga tomorrow or so.

That's pretty much it. It had some nice ideas, but poorly executed them. The relationship between Hal and Sinestro wasn't developped nearly well enough like the one between Charles and Magneto in X-Men FC. So when Sinestro finally becomes a bad guy, there'll be no emotional impact. I'm really disappointed in the movie. I had high expectations when I got in the room and came out disappointed. Had no expectations for Thor and ended up wanting more.

I knew Thor was going to be great actually, Marvel is on point about their directors/actors and where they want their movies going into the future. I mean they're the most innovative company right now, a Cinematic Universe. Really? Anyways, it's kinda funny that GL flopped so I can laugh at people more, especially since Thor was actually great (which I already rubbed in people's faces). But I feel sorry for DC fans, the one time DC makes a movie that's NOT Batman and/or Superman it flops, HARD. EDIT: Stark Resilient was sick towards the end. Bringing the Mandarin at the end made me sit up in my seat as I was reading it, a team of Ezekial Stane, Justin Hammers kids, and the Mandarin to take down Tony Stark is going to be insane. Other than that, issue 25 was really good, for only 2 pages though. I feel like playing MVC3 now =\ Edited June 18, 2011 by BladeOfJustice7

Wouldn't bother. DC seems to have really hit a wall recently. Their one non-batman/superman movie flopped despite all the money they put into it, and they're rebooting the ENTIRE dc universe this coming september.

AirMaster Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 It's Warner Bros finally realizing they own DC and are trying to sell more than Marvel weekly. Of course, Batman sells more, but that's it really. The other titles don't. Other than that, I haven't kept up with it. I know there are gonna be some new GL books coming out though.
kr3wman Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I love blade putting not the ending in spoiler tags but the fact that it's towards the end. reboot of DCU is stupid considering they actually keep stuff from before and remove stuff without any reason. At least you can't complain that the potential reasons why were written horribly.
