I didn't like first and second episode of Kaleido Star and now i'm addicted to it lol. A lot of the really really good anime take a lot of time to really pick up the pace.

I thought the whole ideology setup was hella lame at first, but I'm not one to put down something interesting and it turned into an absolutely awesome manga. I rec this one highly. Gantz, too. Great graphics, very strong writing, Lara Croft nice fanservice, and very tense pacing. ----- @Toronto tourney: Lol, I'd be throwing my money away. I ain't touched BB since MAT8. Also, isn't there the HQ party on the 15th? Very likely gonna have to bow out, unfortunately. :\ T12 might be a yes, though. Assuming I get back in shape... If ever.

I dunno, still have a lot of time to think about it. About getting back in BB shape... just do it, there's a lot of talk about manly animu so just do what the characters from those series would do-ish. And yeah, akumetsu, same. At first, lol bad/cheesy story but I kept reading because people were getting blown up and/or exposed, and it was lulz. Check out "Liar Game" if you haven't already. And about gantz, if anyone just watched it, it's worth reading. The story continues a lot, like berserk and hsd kenichi. If this matters to anyone, new female characters join the cast.

Lone Wolf and Cub is the shit. Flat out. One of the best mangas ever. Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita is awesome. Last Order starts off shit, but quickly becomes awesome. Shame the OVA wasn't that great... Others in Nolan's suggestions that I approve of: Blame!, Biomega, Blade of the immortal, Akira (manga only. movie's good, but...meh), Appleseed and Cannon God Exaxxion.

I haven't kept up with it, though. I'm probably behind by a full year at least. Same with Cannon God, the author just knows how to make an awesome story. I should read Gunsmith Cats, though. I never did get around to it (if it's worth it). It's nice to see that MTL's finest knows how to appreciate fine entertainment. :3

(right before the first memory loss) @Nolan: there have probably been about 5 chapters or so of liar game that have been translated since this day a year ago. I'll check out other titles after ECT.

Bleach manga was relatively interesting, I actually liked it for once since Saigo Getsuga. Naruto was completely hype. One piece, was good but wanted more.
Brice Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Naruto was way too much hype... although i sense an overkill of stupidly strong fights... one piece slowly but surely advances through the storyline and Bleach is starting to get interesting. i really don't like the fullbring arc at all, except for the new characters they look nice at least. also am i the only one that noticed that the art of bleach drastically changed since the fullbring arc? it seems more ''moe''~ish, but not much like a moeblob... i do like the new artstyle though, it feels better imo. oh and unagi san for the fucking win... with riruka being the tsundere loli :3 oh and i don't know if i already talked about it, but why is it that inoue changed her personnality so much... she changed for the clumsy/emo girl to the supremely hyped girl...
