Didn't think I would go to Foonzo today so I didn't pack my laptop... oh well someone is bound to have a computer there.

Brice Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I can be at Foonzo at 4h45. I could litterally book my ticket right now. I'm refreshing every minunte or so the Air Canada page. (the exact same flights are a buck cheaper on Kayak.com) Kappa Expedia has even cheaper deals, but none of them have a direct flight, and have terrible hours. The only 2 direct flights are starting at 799$ and have the same time as the 565$ one give or take an hour. btw the exact flight numbers are (both are Air Canada): AC1857 (Thursday, July 10th) 8:00PM -> 22:26PM local times. AC1852 and AC428 (Monday, July 14th) 11:50AM -> 19:03PM and 21:30PM -> 22:45PM local times.

I'll book the flight as soon as I get home. If Air doesn't arrive by 5:30-5:45, hmmmmmm...on a scale from 1 to 10, how terrible would it be for you to stay until 7:30?

I don't really need to go to Foonzo, it was more to talk together about it... but since I'll be alone it doesn't really matter if everyone book theirs at home today. I can book it right now if I want to.
Brice Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Choosing seats costs money though. The best way to get seated close is to go to the check in together the day of the flight and ask to be seated wherever but together.

Brice Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Well for as long as I remember, you can just go to the counter where they take your bags, and they look at what seats are left available, you don' get to choose where you'll be, but you can at least make it so you are close to the other people that checks in at the same time at the same counter. the question now being : do i just go back home ASAP and book it there, or do i wait for people that might not come to Foonzo... hmmm.

I can book it right now if I want to. I can talk it out at Foonzo but there's no way I'm going to get there before 6 with my card. I would be able to sort of get home around that time though. So if everyone but me is ready to go before then, don't wait for me. But if it turns out Air doesn't arrive before 6 though, then we have to wait for kirbster to finish his exam to talk it over. So, you, kirbster, Air and I would be there but it would only be around 7:30. Earlier, if kirbster is a pro and finishes the exam early. I'll let you guys decide what to do. Need to get back to work.
Brice Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Ok, what's gonna happen is I won't go to foonzo since I'd be the only one booking there (maybe Airmaster?), so instead I'll just go back home and book as soon as I get home. I've left pretty much everything concerning the flight numbers/dates knowing it's from the air canada website. I'm only going to book my plane ticket. if I can do it, I think everyone can. :P Post up when you have your reservations so we can be sure who's coming! :D
