Apparently we are "not allowed" to run money matches because it could be construed as gambling or somesuch and we'd get shut down? I dunno man, it being a school venue has weird rules. That said I think we can run "2 player mini tournaments" with an entry fee where first place gets 100% of the pot. As long as we keep it a bit on the down-low so Krack can claim he had no idea if something happens, we should be good. Don't be flashing that cash around.

 

That all said, I'm willing to match any out-of-towner, and have at least one sponsor who thinks I can beat any one of you. I'm inclined to agree with him. I mean GG is our game, it's only natural that I beat you guys at it.

Heads up for this week, there won't be a meetup this Friday, we're busy. The meetup will be moved to Saturday instead. We have some plans in the morning, can't say exactly when we'll be ready to host, but I think 4pm would be a safe bet.

November 22nd, it's a Saturday. There's still space if you want to come, it's one of those leave in the morning return in the evening kind of things, pretty cheap.

 

@Krakatoa : Any chance of a DFC side event (maybe even free? idc). Game's coming out next week iirc. Could be fun since it seems really easy to pick up, and there's a good chance people will recognize a character or two if they've ever watched anime.

Really? Because as I recall,

 

I lost a bet to Lofobal and have to post about how great he is. Truly he is a better player than I. His infallible knowledge of esoteric Kliff tactics eclipses my own poor man's theorycraft, and I am left blinded by his timeless wisdom.
