Nini Heart Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 @Kirbster: what happened was, I was in tunisia, the only scene there was scrubby MvC3 and okay ish SF4. There isn't much to do on BB if you're not playing others as the combos are pretty straightforward once you get the gist of it, meanwhile, Marvel combos have infinite variations. Plus my GF didn't mind watching me do Dante combos, so in the end, I played too much MvC3 training mode(which is why my disk broke) and somehow got good at the game through training mode only lol. I'll be at Foonzo from 12-11 recording my CMV if anyone wants to mash BB or Marvel or Tekken

I have it with me, send me a text if you want to pick it up from where I work, it should be walking distance from your place. I'll probably go to foonzo tonight, from like 6-10. Not 100% sur though, I need more BB practice. I could learn iron man and play team "chicks dig robots". Or just learn better magneto combos, but I think I'll wait to see what they announce next weekend before I go farther than the fly loop.

In total, Iron Man took me a good month to get comfortable with him. Try out Tony at your discretion. I honestly would've dropped him if he wasn't my favourite marvel character. I need to expand my combos with him though, hopefully watching captain america, will give me the drive to actually step up it up in that game again.

I played around on training mode with one eye closed, another one half open and was like "God, this game is putting me to sleep." I was bored. Or maybe tired, who knows? I just don't like the game on a competitive level. I like being able to move an inch without having a brother shooting me L4Z0RZ from fullscreen while another bro is freely running towards me, preparing for mixups I cannot see. BladeOfJustice7 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 Ken, no one said you had to enter tournaments to play a fighter. Just use it to improve your reactions that's all. Marvel helped increased my hand speed on stick, from mashing buttons to blocking and handling cross ups especially.

My only big problem with hakumen is doing his corner loop combos. I cannot for the life of me figure out sj2a>j2c>sj2a for it to land, I wanna do the gootecks when I'm in training mode so bad. I think I need a break from him because It's been 2 months that the patch came out and I've been mastering every other combo except that because everytime I try it in training mode it's like it's impossible. So you'll be on your own there J.F.
Brice Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 FUCKING GANTZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck i've been reading for the past 6 hours or so and i can't even think of seeing the end of it.... at chapter 119 and i think i need a break. it's good although i don't understand why every single cover art for chapters is a half naked girl wearing partially the gantz suit striking a sexy pose... :P not that i don't like i on the contrary XD also i've been fooling around in guilty gear and i can consistently do 6K > hammerfall FRC> stuff with potemkin (on the left side lol, right side needs more training) and it's pretty fucking hardcore. i also tried out sol and i really like doing stupid stuff like j.236K FRC j.D j.236K FRC j.D x n it's lulz i fucking want to train my blazblue now :3 getting called a scrub by another tager main makes me rage and go into training mode XD
