some if it is slightly out of date though (e.g. Potemkin Buster FRC ＞２Ｓ＞２ＨＳ＞Heat Knuckle works on Sol, Testament and Eddie), and I think I made my own set of notes to verify a few things but generally speaking you can rely on those 2 posts for combos that you really want.

aside from that just watch videos. honestly you don't need much more than the stuff listed unless you want really want advanced unpractical combo vid stuff.

edit: oh and i see you're asking about May in the pot forums? apparently if she switches from block > non-blocking animation correctly, she dodges slidehead. some sort of weird glitch. that's probably what you're encountering.

on the 16th, i doubt there's gonna be a gg tourney. if there's gonna be another gg tourney, it'll be at t12. gg's kind of dead here in toronto though. i barely touch the game now (only touched at mtl for the past 6 months or so). keep playing though it's fun.

Btw, my bro already bought his bike -- 1985 Kawasaki Ninja 250r for ~$850. I'm more of a cruiser dude, btu I'ma try it out soon just for kicks. :3

The SAAQ questions are ALLLLLLL trick questions. You need serious foresight to answer them correctly. The best trick is to do a pretest from your motorcycle school. They should have it on a CD. The way they ask the multiple choice questions all the answers are correct. All 4 of them. You have to choose the one they want to hear, magically. Don't get discouraged, it sometimes takes 2 shots. Study hard and try to understand the point of the different situations they want you to be prepared for. Most of the correct answers are based on principle.

250cc ninja bike is soso for learning on, but you're not going to like it at all. It's stupidly uncomfortable. and if it's from 1985 then i just hope the clutch and throttle are smooth or it will be a bad experience for you. Nevertheless i learned to ride on crappy stuff like that, though a 250cc Honda Shadow makes a better learning bike then a 250cc kawi ninja.

Im a Suzuki fanboy, i love my SV650, and Suzuki make some epic cruisers too if you prefer cruiser type bikes. When you pass your parking test and you need a designated driver to ride with, i should be able to take you on starting from May next year.

For the throw combo, or any combo for that matter, in the corner; the idea is to use one of each super crash once. If you did TK super crash first, youd have to land and do 5b 623b again after to make sure you use the ground version too. Followed by pickup air combo finisher of your choice. It's a matter of how you want to finish the combo, im not sure which could net you more damage. Bang has some extreme combo freedom now, everything has a merit. If you are strictly looking for max damage there is probably a specific combo for you, but sometimes Oki, Tech Trap opportunities and Seals are also factors that could make different combo paths useful. My favourite throw combo in corner:

throw -> d.6D, 623B, 2b, 5d, j.4C, j.C. Very crappy damage, but 2 seals instead of 1.

Damage wise, i believe the challenge combo with the throw is by far the best damage you can get off corner throw.

Maxing damage with Heat, if you throw with Heat near corner, RAPID CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. The damage you can get with a rapid canceled throw is REALLY good because of proration values of Throw being first hit. The rapid must be done as soon as the game lets you, before bang comes in for the kick.

I'm pretty sure Blade, Rhanmmah, Pedro and myself are very interested in GG, and others as well. We were playing it more then BB 2 months ago. When we had to scrap for sticks. Now we have a few working PS2 sticks, so it can only get better!

casuals would be dependent on someone bringing a crt to the venue on the 16th. i'll find out about it.

and i'm not that good at gg lol. toronto does have a bunch of good players, it's just everyone's stopped going to the arcade due to a lack of a cs2 cabinet, so gg's been dead for a while (it's hard to lug around a crt set-up to venues).

i think we're really weak in cs2 though due to the fact that we lost the arcade environment. the scene isn't dead though, we're trying to keep the community alive with biweekly console ranbats now, and a few of the players here are upping their game (not me though lol, sitting at home watching k-dramas zzzz). you'll see for youself soon enough i guess lol.

lol i haven't really played CS2 since mat8 and yesterday i wanted to finally learn new stuff and get comfortable with cs2 and my ps3 died on me while patching... so now all i can do is upping my guilty gear... :P

the good thing about training GG is that my execution is getting better and when i switch back to tager everything is easier-ish, and when you play tager you learn to block and that's about it...

ST1CKBUG!!!!!! I'VE DONE MY HOMEWORK :P my pot got considerably better the week after ECT and since we're pretty much sure about going to summer jam, you will be able to see my improvement :D this time MTL will prevail.

also everybody should follow what he's saying... you don't know how it feels playing GG when you know what you're doing and what you should be doing.... also the game is way more balanced than BB :P
