DerQ Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I should get mad that I lost 10$, but I detach myself a lot from the loss. Same goes with the set against S.Labrys we played by the end of the evening. I'm not salty enough to drive me to work on what caused the defeat in the first place.

Meetups occur on Tuesday Thursday and Sunday mostly and we aslo have our own community website (http://www.sankishin.com) where we discuss about meetups and upcoming local/international events we plan on going, general everyday chatter and so on. I'd also like to add that our meetups are indeed open to everyone but must be 18 or older since our venue serves alcohol. Edited January 21, 2013 by Bibiquadium

Would I need to buy a new stick entirely if ever I played with you? Thanks. Most of us are on PS3, but there's like me and wakeupdp I know for sure to have a 360. Though I don't personally have BB (yet). Also, you don't need to buy a new stick (even though it's a possible route), you might only need to mod it so it works on multiple consoles. Of course I've never seen a scenario where a player couldn't manage to borrow someone's else stick, so it's all cool if you're ok with it. Also, meetups are open to anyone over 18 due to the venue's restriction (alcool). If you want to level up your game, we'll welcome you with open arms and some ass whoopin.

You're in luck if you want to level up your BB game because you stumbled upon probably the most active BB community in North America right now haha, even when the game is losing a bit of steam around the world while everyone waits for BBCP. You should definitely show up at Foonzo tomorrow (google it) if you wanna meet us. Looking forward to playing with you!

Those that can play on X-box, if you want to fight them online are DerQ, Blade, WakeUpDP & Pedro. We cover a lot of the cast, so depending on who you play, you will find someone to show and tell you a couple of tricks & cheap stuff. [Tager / Jin / Taokaka / Relius / Bang / Lambda / Mu12 / Rachel / Ragna / Haku-men / Litchi / Hazama / Tsubaki / Platinum / Makoto & Valkenhein] These are the games that you might see us play and want to play. Blazblue Guilty Gear Arcana Heart 3 Aquapazza King Of Fighters Persona 4 Arena Melty Blood If its a stick problem you will be having, you can borrow a stick from the employees of Foonzo or from anyone that is present in the community. Like the others have stated, it's 18+ due to alcohol. You will need to buy something and maybe leave some tip if wanted. It should actually be "don't leave tip if service is shit" instead of "leave some tip if wanted"... you should always leave tip to waiters wtf, that's how they make money

It's not something that is mandatory but it is appreciated.

You don't seem to understand... waiters who work in a place where they are expected to get tip are paid lower than minimum wage, and even that salary gets taxed to hell. Waiters make money from the tip they make, so if you don't tip them they don't make money... simple as that. Now, when I used to work in a juice stand in a mall we had a little tip box where you could, if you wanted, leave some tip, which is fine because that wasn't our main revenue source... waiters are a different story. But of course you don't have to tip if you get terrible service, I sure as hell wouldn't, but that rarely happens since their living depends on them making the consumer satisfied... waiters are master hypocrites/two-faced people lol.

Now, I always leave a tip unless the waiter/waitress has been in inconsiderate ass-clown. Or if the waitress I have denies my advances to her she doesn't get a tip either. It's either the "tip" from the "D" or nothing at all. I joke, I still tip her even if she denies my advances. besides, she could always call the cops on me -_-

Also what Shinsyn and Kirbster said are facts. Even someone as poverty status as me still gives tips at foonzo, they really work hard there and this has been the longest established gaming center in mtl. They need the support as much as we do, especially since they allow us to run tournaments there. @Dai, I haven't even seen you play BB online like at all :/
