Tomorrow (Sunday July 10th) we're hosting at our apartment, 2pm-10pm. Gotta get more practice before EVO! Might also put the Euro finals on the big TV if I can find a stream (Italy vs France, 3pm EST).

Evo was fun, we somehow placed good in side games:

Blade Arcus : I got 5th

Koihime : Level5 got 5th

BBCPEX : Brice won, I got 7th

DFCI : Level5 got 5th

GGXXAC+R : Brice got 5th

In GGXrd, only Brice and Fan made it out of their pools.

 

Anyway, with the new balance patch and characters for Xrd, you guys were probably looking forward to a meetup. MVA will be open Friday for a meetup, but I won't be there. Same schedule as always, feel free to run a tournament if any of you want one.

So I'd like to gauge interest in Canada Cup, since it's coming up in a few months and we should start planning somewhere in the next month.

We'd probably drive, since it's in Toronto again this year, train is also an option.

2-4PM Xrd Pools
4-6PM SF5 Pools
6-7 Xrd Top 8
7-8 SF5 Top 8
Signups start at 10 for all games.
Venue closes at midnight, games and casuals can be run until then. Usually we all go out for dinner after it closes. 

Xrd $5
SFV $5
Venue $5
More events can be run if enough players show up.

60/30/10 split for 1st/2nd/3rd for all games.
All game fees go to players and all venue fees go to charity.
Get discounts for bringing setups! We'll waive your venue fee if you bring one!
