I wont be able to come this weekend, sorry for dodging this time! been playing Overwatch on console and so far its pretty legit. good friend of mine is coming to see me, if there no problem. maybe i can come this sunday by little chance.

j'ai pas mal arrete d'avoir du fun avec les modern shooter depuis la sorti de GoldenEye 2010 sur Wii. honnetement dans toute les shooter de cette géneration, je te dirait que Overwatch c'est pas mal pret d'un orginialité shooter arcade des Quatre-vingt-dix. non sériousement l'idée avec des healers/supporters et tanks en 6 vs 6 c'est pas mal intense. j'ai pas mal commencer de jouer avec lucio, pis j'ai faite des long overextend de 5 a 8minutes,rarement mais c'est vraiment possible sa. les heals pis ultimates de tout les personnage sont game change aussi. j'étais pas mal impressioné du reveal de ce jeu en 2014 real talk. c'est un bon fresh IP comme Splatoon, sa va se vendre comme des petit pain chaud c'est claire sa.

Saturday next week (May 28th) I'd like to run a "Monthly" tournament at MVA for airdashers, with double elim brackets for at least BBCPEX, GGXrd (ver tbd), Koihime Enbu, and DFCI. This week we'll do a meetup there friday (May 20th) where we'll test things out in preparation for that, with a few single elimination tournaments.

Weekly Tournament #1 @ MVA

This venue has monitors, so we'll need a few people to bring consoles. Besides that, please bring your own controllers/sticks. The tournaments should only require one station where we'll test the stream, so there should be a ton of stations for casuals.

The venue also offers a monthly membership for 30$, and soft drinks for a certain contribution.

i'm still thinking to get that membership thing, they probably doing to do some Overwatch night at some point. seems very nice and the place has a very great ambiance so far, the staff are very friendly too.

The monthly I'd thought of running Saturday is instead moved to next week's Saturday (June 4th), as this week there will be a Street Fighter monthly AND some people going to Anime North in Toronto. So yeah, next week. This week instead we'll do a Friday tournament similar to last week's, except it'll be planned teams for the 2v2 (you can still sign up alone and get paired up with other solo players).

We're also going to host a meetup at our place on Saturday this week, something like 2pm onwards. With the release of Revelator this week I'm guessing people will want to try the new characters and things, haven't had a FG meetup at our place in while too.

For those who wants GGXRD Revelator on PS3 :

- There's no Gameplay issue, similar to ps4 version. except Johnny's intro that makes the game drop frames BUT that doesn't affect gameplay.

- Loading Time is longer than ps4 which is normal (and it actually shows a loading bar when you netplay people lol)

- Graphic looks less prettier, but its unnoticable unless you look at it carefully.

- apparently replay mode is glitchy

soo if you think of buying it. Go ahead. Cuz I am.

Prizes : Since the tournaments are free to enter, I'll be providing a 1$ pot bonus to each tournament for each entrant that tournament gets. Winner takes all.

Extra Prizes : The winner of the Blazblue tournament will be allowed to rename our Granblue Guild. I reserve the right to veto the name. There might also be extra prizes for the other games, but they are TBD.

Stream should be twitch.tv/p0chp , the venue has a nice set up with a projector too, so hopefully after testing it last week everything will work.

This venue has monitors, so we'll need people to bring consoles. Besides that, please bring your own controllers/sticks. If there are not enough consoles for a certain game, it may be switched to single elimination (aka bring revelator setups please).

The venue also offers a monthly membership for 30$, and soft drinks for 1$.

If you're interested in coming from out of town, let us know, maybe someone can offer a place to stay.
