Key Points: -Utilize the "Get Exposed" video in order to get more attention to our scene -Travel to adjacent events in order to experience their scenes, as well as make them more inclined to come to ours -Talks of attempting to revive guilty gear, and possibly switching to guilty gear from blazblue -finding a new venue one day if our scene ever grows to be too big for the arcade -smash bros is for children I think that was pretty much the big talking points of the night. My memory's a little bad on that. But traveling and GG was definitely the big points we were all getting across.

Casuals against Eugene were entertaining, and Dudley vs. Hugo was crazy. Lets see.. The closest non-TN scene is about 3 hours away, and they've come to a few of ours (the marvel players that took first a couple of times). This is the problem with the South. Cities are not near as populated as east/west coast, and we're much more spread out. -Talks of attempting to revive guilty gear, and possibly switching to guilty gear from blazblue. While I can understand this, I don't think Guilty Gear will attract the more casual crowd, which happens to be exactly what we're targetting at the moment. By getting the more casual people to come in, we can then slowly convert them to the "hardcore" side and attend more. GG is known for its crazy advanced stuff, and this may scare off newbies. -finding a new venue one day if our scene ever grows to be too big for the arcade That doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon. We barely have 10 people that make it every month. Melee shows a huge amount of numbers though, so it can get crowded fast when they come in. -smash bros is for children Heh, I overheard this for 2 hours Saturday night. Smash is the most advanced "fighter" that doesn't involve arcade sticks. There is a lot of fast button-pressing and c-stick smashing, and you have to have some sort of execution for that. The game is faster than most people think too. I respect them as players and try not to give them crap, because Blazblue players get similar crap too. Edited September 26, 2011 by Astaroth136

Milln Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) For all those (secretly or otherwise)concerned about me at dinner: it culminated into me not being able to walk, sit, even put pressure/weight on my right leg/right back without disabling pain and I was down for Sunday and almost wimped out and went to the emergency room. Good news is I don't have any discs or crap like that screwed up or herniated. My joints were out of place and I went to the chiropractor today and she put them back in. Not expensive at all compared to a hospital trip if I had gone. I already feel like fifty times better than I did yesterday. I have another appointment Wednesday morning and we'll go from there. For anyone wondering about CS2, i've been trolling that game do to paranoia and insecurity. Cyner and Falcon, I was indeed trolling so don't let me make you feel like you shouldn't come back for Blazblue (even though you shouldn't, Trollface.jpeg) Special shoutout to Naimat who showed up late and talked with me about BBCS Extend. Out of everyone who plays BB you've been the only one I can ever squeeze a conversation out of about it. Also, whenever you get free time let me know. I live really close so regular casuals are possible now. Milln, my mom thought we were trying some weird levitation ritual outside of IHop when you were laying on the ground. Glad to hear you're okay. Also, i'll send you script info and all that good stuff soon.

I think it's a really hype idea, and if you guys would want to, I can start recording our online casual nights for footage.
