If all goes well, there should be at least a couple new faces out of the four newbies next MTN- any more and we'll have to work out driving arrangements though, haha. I hate you. Sounds good, Papstr. Glad the game night went well too- I just wish it'd happened this week instead so I could have made it. Oh, and it turns out the new Bloody Roar game was a joke. I blame Astaroth for getting my hopes up. ;_; I hate you even more. So apparently, UMvC3's mashable Hypers tend to double the normal damage. The hell? Might not matter when they're done in long combos.

Just roll or swipe your hand back and forth along the buttons and keep up the idea that fighting games are button-mashers to the general populace. Stock check, everybody: what can you bring, setup-wise? I have the five tv's(two in there, one CRT, two LCD), 1 360, 1 BlazBlue, 1 3SO, 1 gamecube, 1 wii, 2 Melee. Edited October 4, 2011 by Milln

I'll be bringing my 360, 1 Blazblue, 1 3SO, 2 recording setups/laptops (ugh), 1 wii, 1 Melee, and PEEPLEZ.

Alphakami Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Mashing hypers is awesome, at least, it was amazing in MVC2. Most of those you had to mash the shit out of and stop on frame to continue the combo. There was also mashing out of hypers, but stopping just in time to not attack and still block. Shit was great. Thinking on the 'get exposed' thing, we should collect tons of footage at the next MTN, and also, even with no MTN's I plan on seeing you guys over the break, and doing some hosting and shit, or throwing those hotel parties, and we take footage and shit as we play BlazBlue AND you guys learn Guilty Gear, then when we start back up next year, we have the video ready. The scene will be picking back up and so will we (Extend should be here, along with other things) but, this is Dustloop, so doing a double GG BB at that time will get lots more actual exposure and hype. Think of it as just-framing instead of spamming it. My thoughts anyway.

Just recovered and they're already making me perform inventory, ugh. Necessary connections to Melee crowd have been notified and will branch out from there. Jamming with Tad over the break is hype and I will definitely be there on my days off(my availability is strictly Sunday's and Thursdays. I can swing Saturday night getting out early. Grimstar coming this time is hype Already thought ahead, Tad. I've got a digicam and Jackie's bringing his Flip in addition to my phone. Also, I haven't been taking pictures and videos throughout the year for nothin'.

Throughout the break i'll always be available for events so don't be hesitant to to shoot me invites. Also, due to this being the last MTN of the year I may or may not enter BB (i'm not). I'll be doing most of the commentating for BB (Permanent BB commentator). The new year is definitely looking promising. Extend sounds meh, but i'll play it anyways.
