Sorry for posting like a million times today guys, I've been doing a lot of stuff on the computer. Does anyone know who this Pink Tager and Blue Platinum fighting each other might be? I'm having trouble figuring it out. It's very early in the tournament, taking place after Tad and Zeno's match.

Oh no, Volpe! You must have caught the Star! Where did all your posts go?! D:

Implying Star is a disease? Lmfao.

Posted

Symptoms of the L.S.S. disease are:

- Giving zero fucks

- Having a disturbing lust for Noel Vermillion

- Being a weeaboo

- Discussing things no one cares about or will induce salt

- Trolling for absolutely no reason

- Hating everything that moves (and a few things that don't)

I pray to god I never have that disease.

goddamnit chandler once again you labeled a Ragna as me that is most definitely NOT me. Never played Tad this time. For that matter, all I fought were Hakumens and a Tager. if you label another video as me when its NOT me fighting any of those characters, I may have to punch you. I feel like I go through this every time a set of videos shows up.

To sum up, if the Ragna:

-is not in pink

-doesnt suck

then it probably isn't me. <3 Jackie though. I'll post shoutouts later.

Why do they all say mtnbb 10? It's the twelfth one.

It's complicated. I must have fudged up the number somewhere along the line when uploading, and logically this was the tenth one. I remember you talking about this being the twelfth one, but I didn't know if we were considering this one the twelfth because we wouldn't normally meet the next couple months, so I did the math on what we already had and that's what I came up with. Mah bad. It's fixed now.

Haha, sorry Papstr. I thought we only had three Ragnas this time. That must mean the Ragna is Shenanigans.

... Who the heck is Shenanigans? >_>

I upload brackets for multiple reasons. So that you label matches correctly is one of them.

Shenanigans came from south Carolina. Represent.

Boomcube did play AzurePhoenix and even reported it. But, this was before Star jumped in. Things might have been switched. Terminator pinball was holding my attention at the time. lol

For most of what I watched all I can say is you Ragnas need to work on your approach and pressure. I'm seeing too many of you guys playing keep-away. For example, when I saw multiple people just letting Valk fly around like he owns the place you just stand there and watch like "Oh, that's pretty cool. Wish I could do that", learn to lock Valk down. If you don't you risk getting put into his mix-up (and trust me, you don't want that). Ragna easily has the tools to keep the old man in place, start using them. Long story short, hit the lab people. Other than that I just see Hakus not knowing combos (not sure why that is seeing as he has the most brain-dead combos in the game). I myself need to work on spacing my normals out against Tager, but I hit the lab frequently so i'll have new technology for him soon.

@Astaroth: Leave it to me to ruin the brackets, lawlz.

Anyway, shout out time. This is gonna be long as hell, which is very unexpected of me. For starters:

Middle Tennesee- Y'know, even though everybody says its the 1 year of MTN, it really feels like 3 for me. Since junior year in high school, (College Freshman now) I've gone to the Game Galaxy nearly every month for some kinda vidja game competition. It began with KO and Milln running Brawl, then to Brawl+. There was a break for a while, and Milln returned with Blazblue. This stuffs been a part of my life for a while now, and it's certainly been a wild ride. I can't wait for more.

Milln- Like I said above, you've been around since the dawn of.. something. You run these events with great efficiency, and you play the role of TO, as well as friend. It's safe to assume that everybody here loves you and appreciates running these events. No doubt it's very difficult to keep up with, and yet you're still on top of your game having everything running smoothly. Mystery events have always been incredibly hype. It's a shame time was short this time around. It was sure gonna be the best mystery game tournament ever.

That being said, some shout outs to others. I'm STILL awful with names, but here goes:

Jackie- Jackie my boy, it was pretty awesome watching you win as much as Pickle and I trolled you. Not only is it hype chillin' with you at these events, but I feel you're definitely becoming a closer friend. Cookeville is a foreign place to me, but havin' you around makes it a little more homey. Chilling at your place is always cool, and I'm definitely gonna freeload off you and chill there a lot. er.. Not really. Also,Ragna!

Astaroth- I very rarely seem to play you, (and when I do it goes too quick x_x) but watching you play is just the greatest. It kills me just how excellent you are at reading people and throwing bitches around. One of these days I'm gonna sit down and play with you for a good while.

Klein- Dat Beard. You're such a cool guy to hang with, it's a wonder you don't talk to others more (I have that issue too). Your fight stick is sexy, making some League talk with you is fun, and you're just awesome to play with/against/whatever. Just remember one thing: Secret training!

Naimat- Yea you and I go a while back. Do I regret meeting you? Yea, not really. As much as I give you crap for being you, you're cool. I like watchin' you talk and play or whatever. Mostly because you always have something funny to say. I need to get some matches in with you sometime, and show you that I'm not that little scrub that you loved to troll on Xbox Live so long ago :3

LastStar- Hmmmm... But seriously. I'm glad you seem to have rebounded and shedded off your salt suit. It was definitely weird and worrying to have you trolling/arguing/seeming to pick fights with people or some shit. Trolling is a art, and I hope you continue your trolling, so long as it's clever and warranted. Unless it's Naimat.

Zeno- Hakumen Hakumen oh god im drowning in them. You're such a cool guy to talk to and chill with. AND you play Hakumen!

Volpe- AIDS. Also Hakumen hoodie. Good job getting to the grand finals! And grabbing Jackie out of Carnage Scissors. Excellent job demonstrating how pointless that distortion is. It was funny how everybody was so surprised it worked. I was aware you could grab him out, but only seen it once. Were you aware that could happen? Or praying for a miracle?

Pickle- my god, we should be professional commentators! Bro you are funny as all hell and the embodiment of hype. I met you awhile back in the Brawl days (ewwww) and found you to be one of the best dudes ever since then. You're like the brain of all the lulz and memes that spark from this silly community, and any tournament without you lacks serious hype.

Tad- You're like living proof that games aren't just for kids. Now I ain't sittin' here callin' ya grandpa or anything, but I think it's cool to see somebody like you still coming to these things and playing and having a good time with the rest of us. Oh. and drinking beer at O'charleys. That was lulz. And the expression on your face when you realized most of us were 18-20 was amazing.

KO- You probably won't read this you dick. Where'd you go? You friggin' left early like a punk. Anyway you're a cool dude, we go back to the g- bad ol Brawl and + days, and yet we still reunite under the banner of lolBlazblue and also League of Legends. You're friggin funny and never cease to keep me laughing.

Man I'm bad with this shit. I hope I'm not leaving anybody out or anything ._.

This wasn't nearly as long as I thought. This is cheesy as hell. Don't judge me. D:

From what I've tried, some of Haku's combos have tighter windows than what you'd expect. I've heard a few other people say the same thing too.

No, I play him myself. He's ridiculously easy to combo with. Mind you i'm not saying I can get ridiculous combos off of anything but I definitely know what to use to pick up a combo (especially on counter-hit). I'm not saying anything was wrong with the way the Hakus of MTN play just saying there were some almost too simple hit-confirms to do big damage that were missed. Merely want to expose that and have them meditate on that in their free-time. I'm available if anyone needs combo help (even though you have a character forum for that).
