I want to seriously get better at this series, and I thought it might be better to build my fundamentals and get used to the older ones before I try tackling XIII competitively again. I'm sad to hear this seeing as you're the ONLY person I can get to have a debate on this issue. Nonetheless, I respect your decision to drop out of our debate. Needless to say i;ve given up all hope on anyone actually choosing to talk with me about these things (depression hits hard now). Seiki Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Lumin you are doing more work than you need to. If you want to get better fundamentals play KOFXIII very basic. Focus on practicing footsies, and anti-airing. You will be doing the same thing in older KOF's anyways and you'll get better at KOFXIII faster this way because you are practicing your fundamentals in a KOFXIII context. Does GGPO have KOFXI? That was my favorite. I call the game Marvel 2 and 1/2.

The primary scene is up in Flint, which is a good hour or so away, and I work most weekends so I can't attend ranbats (regularly enough to improve, anyway). I'm basically stuck at my level because of this, which isn't good enough to try and enter the tournaments yet. I was actually suggested to play KoF on GGPO by another KoF player here if I wanted to get better in the meantime. Edited April 19, 2012 by LuminAbyss

JoJo's is too fun. I just looked at the tier list and I was saddened that Mariah was low. She was the most fun last night. ...aside from Alessy and ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA Also, it may not be the best game to settle disputes with, based on the tier list.
