There have been a lot of things keeping me busy recently, but the big ones boil down to A. My dad getting into a car accident, and B. My sister's high school graduation. In case anyone felt the need to ask- yes, my old man's okay, but he's still recovering from a couple broken ribs and his car was totaled. And my sister graduated today and just got done with her party, so congrats to her and whatnot. I haven't had any time for fighting games whatsoever as of late, but I want to do some serious work with SOMETHING over the summer. What it is will mainly depend on what my friends are willing to learn (though I'll be pushing games I want to learn myself, haha). Looking forward to seeing you all next week. :]

I'm probably going to drop Guilty Gear off of my list of games to play competitively. I just graduated today myself and all I can say is, planning to dive into SC5 like I had been meaning to do since it first released (money issues prevented me from doing so). That's probably going to be my main focus until P4U comes out and I drop everything for that. I doo hope that the many of you who keep saying you love Guilty actually study the game and learn it. I talked to Volpe earlier and he was studying the heck out of the new complete tutorial on GG that Dustloop has (I'd recommend you all do the same). I really want to see our scene have better players in the games they play overall, even if I never get to fight any of you in them. Edit: Just watched that match Astaroth, your opponent's Dante had some really solid mix-ups. X23 looks like a real trick to deal with though, that speed is ridiculous. How is that match-up for Hulk? X23 looks like a real trick to deal with though, that speed is ridiculous. How is that match-up for Hulk? Dante matchup for Hulk is pretty bad. He has all the tools that beat Hulk. A very long range, hit-confirmable poke, a teleport, multi-hitting projectiles, and safe pressure. Add assists or XF to the mix and it's very hard to beat. X-23 is tough too. She doesn't do as much damage as Dante, but she does have more mobility. This mobility can let her run the clock, or she can poke and run. Her level 3 is THE CHEAPEST level 3 in the game. If done correctly, incoming characters cannot escape it, meaning that if she kills one character, she will also easily kill the next incoming character.

Even with the game being Marvel, I can understand why anyone would lose to him. You shoulda flipped more tables, though. I'm all about the table flip. @GuiltyGear : I will be surprised and let Naimat wear my hat for a day if anyone besides Volpe/Naimat/Klein stick with it enough to get legitimately good. I'll support the movement if there is one. @Tournament: YO LISTEN UP. We'll be inside the arcade this time so this what I'm gonna do. Venue fee is reduced by 5 and entry fee per tourny is increased by 5. If you play one game, it's the same exact fifteen, but you'll win more money. How cool is that? If you play more than one game, then yeah you'll be shelling out more, but you'll WIN MORE. Sound good? Astaroth? Broke college students? AND HEY BIG UPS AND SHOUTS TO STAR FOR GRADUATING

Once I get these last few exams outta the way I'mma go in learning Hilde and figuring out how the balls Slayer works. Setup sounds cool, even if it's gonna be uncomfortable again. Not even sure what I'll enter. As for Guilty Gear, the only person you didn't mention that I remember expressing any interest in it was Jackie, and I'm sure if he decided to pick it up he'd take it seriously.
