Astaroth136 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Nobody's ever gonna just do one 5A and not cancel into anything... True, except for Kanji. He can frame trap all day with 5A and stuff jump-aways.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 My hype for BB is surprisingly low. UNiB, on the other hand. . . Fuck yes, Seth.
Milln Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 True, except for Kanji. He can frame trap all day with 5A and stuff jump-aways. Chie, too. It's part of her "stop blocking, you scoundrel!" schtick.

Seiki Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Actually, Kanji's 5A is +5 on block. Then why does the dustloop wiki say it's -7?
Astaroth136 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Then why does the dustloop wiki say it's -7? Then maybe what I saw a few days ago was wrong. lol
Urichinan Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Oh lol, I was incorrect too. Shadow Labrys' 5A is -9 according to the wiki.
Astaroth136 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Btn | GRD/HIT 5A | +1/-7 (+5/+14 - These numbers are if you jump cancel. <_<) 5C | -9/+8 5B | -1/0 2B | -18/xx 2A | 0/+2 Someone came into the Kanji forums and posted this AFTER I read it was +5.
Seiki Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) @Milln: it's -7 on block. all the frame advantage posted on wiki is on block Edited August 26, 2012 by Seiki
Seiki Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 But it says on guard/hit If you look at any character's frame data and click on the blue colored words "Static Difference" they define what it means: "The difference in time an attacker and a defender can begin moving again after blocking an attack."
Klein Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If you look at any character's frame data and click on the blue colored words "Static Difference" they define what it means: "The difference in time an attacker and a defender can begin moving again after blocking an attack." You misunderstand, look at Kanji's 5a vs the text. It's values are reversed.
Seiki Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 This is literally what i am looking at: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Kanji_Tatsumi_%28P4Arena%29
Klein Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 This is literally what i am looking at: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Kanji_Tatsumi_%28P4Arena%29 ...Astaroth's frame data. Look at it.
Seiki Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I know what Astaroth's data is. I am telling Milln that it's -7 on block based on the dustloop wiki page. Therefore one can come to the conclusion that the -7 in Astaroth's post is the frame advantage on block.
Milln Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 I figured it was written incorrectly but couldn't check properly. Thanks for the clarification.
LastStarSaviour Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Grand Finals was TOOO DAMNED HYPE!! Good shit to SKD eliminating LK and then exposing Psyken.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Summer Jam Grand Finals was too hype! I'm all fired up now. GRAND FINALS DP LADDER GO!
Milln Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 I actually kinda don't care about Lord Knight that much, just from what I hear from other and read what he says. SKD, however, Everyone should have love for. Psyken's a bro. We exposed Psyken in Samurai Kirby at MWC, too.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Yeah I lost any potential respect for him when he wrote off anyone who played an entire character as a scrub in BB days.
Milln Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 In other, Yosuke related news.... I just found something interesting. I thought so, too, and was running off of "I'm pretty sure..." but just now used a turbo controller to confirm. Yosuke's attacks are legitimately faster when in Sukukaja. Now to find out just which ones are affected.
Jackie Chandler Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 On the topic of Yosuke... http://phaetniexs.tumblr.com/post/29541996163/aw-yosuke-wait-what-yosuke-yosuke-no
