This drives me fucking insane. So Many AD carries that rush a bloodthirster because some pro did it without realizing why. Whenever I see a Tristana with a bloodthirster I cry. SHE SHOULDN'T RUSH ONE. ARGH

I always rush BT when I play Tristana. Not because pros did it, but because I don't know how to play this game.

It's horrifically off topic to discuss it here, and no doubt somebody will jump on me, but it's not like BT is a bad item on Trist, it's that since she is so auto attack heavy (none of her abilities have AD scaling) she does best with a vamp septer and Infinity Edge rush. The reason certain characters can and do rush BT (Namely Graves and Varus) is because they also have abilities that scale well with AD, and BT gives the most raw AD, so they get good auto attack benefits as well as scaling for their abilities.

@milln - that actually sounds swell. I'll see how Jackie and crew feels. I'd love to go see that movie.

I'd actually like to see the movie as well.

Off-topic: Yeah I normally don't play trist, either. The only AD carries I play are Ez and Vayne, and I never really knew how to build them either. I play mainly jungle and AP mid.

Cookeville should come to Murfreesboro to Kaos Theory's charity event/tournaments Saturday. Then they can pick me up since I might not have a ride to this awesome Marvel event.

Hei was always free. In a fight against a bunch of un-named mooks, he'll wreck them all with style. If you pit him against an actual character, he'll die if he isn't saved by another character. The only fights he won straight up in a 1v1 was Wei and the cigarette eating Opera singer in Season 1 and the Magician in the beginning of Season 2. Also, in South America before he got powers, he fucking lynched a contractor with concussive blasts. Maybe against Lightsaber Lesbian, but I don't really count it because she went down after a single shot to the gut for some reason, and in their actual fight she wrecked him. Everyone else he either needs help or he gets the jump on his opponent. The only reason he looks so good is because the creators throw a bunch of henchmen in his path and his risk/reward is amazing.

Make no mistake, Hei's a badass. He's true S because he's got zoning, movement options, speed, and mix-ups, and a single meterless hit-confirm nets him a kill. But due to his mentality, more often than not he's being rescued by the other characters. He lacks foresight and sucks at mind-games. He can be tricky sometimes, but he's terrible at reading his opponents.

He was saved from Ilya by July, he fled from November, was later caught by November 11 before being rescued, was bodied by Lightsaber Lesbian, was EASILY bodied by the illusory contractor in Gaiden (even after being warned that it was a trap). He was also rescued by Mao from the body swapping contractor in Season 1. I can't really remember all of the specifics, but I do remember going back and watching it through again specifically to audit his skill. Most of the time, he's free as fuck.

@the Oregon guy: we had this discussion before! Volpe just summed up all of the findings from previous exchanges.

@Cookeville: get out here for Wreck-It Ralph

@Off-Topic: there is no off topic in this thread. Talk about whatever as long as no feelings are hurt.

Well damnit. I wouldn't mind discussing it in-depth (I've got my own opinions on the subject) but unfortunately I got tired trying to write a post, so I'll leave it alone... for now, I guess.

Wreck-It Ralph looks like we're doing a Sunday thing. A lot of key people are off on Sunday: myself, Chris Brown, laBomba, JFord, Anne Frank(Mellis, proceeding) and Eddie. We're engaging the GALLATIN theatre because according to Chris and Eddie "it is the dopest theatre" and has stadium seating, put-your-own-topping popcorn, giant drinks, all for the comfortable price of less than twenty bucks.

And party at my house all day.

Or Tomorrow night. Zeth can't make Sunday and he wants to go so it's up to you but I need to know asap

So my theater class is doing set construction this weekend. I volunteered 1-3PM on Saturday and 4-6PM on Sunday so yea..

We'd see the movie Friday night.

Or something, my days are absolutely boggled right now, excuse me.

November 2: 10:30pm in Murfreesboro

If no one likes that we'll do a Sunday evening one.

I guess I missed a topic change because I've read this post three times and still can't make heads or tails of it! xD
