And curse my roommates for moving tables around when I finally get a feel for the area. I couldnt play video games by myself. I think I'd still attempt to play fighters; by having a "spotter" telling me spacing and what the opponent is doing through fast code words.

I'd like to go to one of these, but getting someone to drive that far on a weekday will take some hardcore convincing. I'll try asking around but I'm not if anyone would be willing. I love this It's the Ralfin best :P I think it'd be cool if we tried that here, Noone really knows how to play Ralf all that well here (or maybe Clark?), and he has a low skill curve so I think it'd be something fun to try, no prior knowledge required.
