Klein Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Mmhm, I dig Children's Story a lot. Been listening to it for a really long time mainly because I like the lyrics. Thumbs up to you for knowing it man.
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) Everyone should post up some music that they listen to or have listened to that they enjoy. Doesn't matter what it is. Great idea. I'll definitely get around to everyone's stuff. I love seeing people's different tastes in music. Probably gonna go overboard with mine, but oh well. I fucking love music. Urichinan Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Some stuff I've been listening to: Lost Soundtrack: If you plan on watching the show, ever, I suggest not listening to these, as they take away some of the show if you listen to them before seeing their respective scenes. Did I not mention for everyone to add to their lists as much as possible? All of these just help me expand my music variety since it's a bit lacking. Already done research on Naimat's and Klein's artists. Hoping to get to Kain and Volpe's by tomorrow.
Klein Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Adele is legit, favorited Yuhki for later, same with Grasscut. And https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWbA7_veA_Q is my favorite rendition of Pon Pon Pon :P I'll probably get to electronica stuff later (sorry Milln and Keith), I'm just not in the mood right now.

You guys need to respect some older music: September Feeder's Just a Day is pretty good. Same for Buck Rogers Anything by melodysheep MICHAEL JACKSON Black Or White Smooth Criminal and its Sonic Remix You Are Not Alone ... I'm gonna stop. This just never ends. I'm gonna go play Airmech.
Bane Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 So much music. So much time. It's interesting to listen to different things, now and then.

Milln Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 Whoa whoa whoa you're a radio DJ? Why is this the first we've heard of this? Tell us more.

Seiki Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) Whoa whoa whoa you're a radio DJ? Why is this the first we've heard of this? Tell us more. You guys don't know Mr.Minionman?!!! He's the most famous DJ in the entire world. I have a story of when I first met him. I was at a fortune 10 Company party (props to Trojans Sponsorship) and I was just chillin with the 10 CEOs that run the world and DJ Mr.Minionman is bouncin his fro playing some hot tracks. The CEOs got so krunk off his tracks they got their 60 year old asses off the couch and attempted to dance with their mistresses' but it just ended up looking like dry humping. Before I left DJ Mr.Minionman and I looked at those 10 CEOs and their mistresses and wondered if their wives know about this...if their children would be proud of them if they saw their fathers like this. DJ Mr.Minionman then asked, "What about the mistresses?" That triggered a thought about a time earlier in the party the CEO of Google was scratching his crotch a lot. These women were in danger. So before I left I gave everyone a trojan condom where my face was at the end of the shaft. I saved lives that day. I'm a hero. And it's all thanks to DJ Mr.Minionman asking me that question. Urichinan Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 GGs Klein, tonight was fun, except for the fact that we lagged as if it was EU vs. NA. UGH. I felt like I did pretty good with I-No tonight. I didn't know her 6P could be used as an AA. Her combos are way to freaking hard, I feel like her pokes suck and her mixup blows. BUT, she's so fun! <3

Urichinan Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 6Ps are universal anti-airs, I-No is nothing but mixup, and Litchi makes fighting games not fun, lol. GGs. Having no grounded overheads and having to spend meter to preform without jumping or dropping a pressure string doesn't seem like a very good mixup design to me. Especially when you get no reward for landing said mixup without having to spend more meter. That means you're looking at 50 meter just to preform an and capitalize off an overhead! >_< I don't like it! Her ground dash > j.S/K is so retarded though, especially when you throw in a VCL FRC. Getting good a GG is going to be a lot of work, but I can't wait until I can properly execute I-No moves. :D
Seiki Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 @Uri: The more you play Gear the better you will be at being aggressive and you will find yourself always plentiful of meter. The game rewards meter in more ways than BB, a scrub I-No is'nt going to be able to capture all that juicy meter you get from being offensive when you are still learning just how to not get hit.

When I did a mock call in front of the training class, a weird impulse almost made me say "Astaroth" too. I blame you.
Urichinan Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Y'all ready for the end? It's the 21st in numerous different places around the world, and when it's the 21st for us, it will be the 22nd for others. So the end is already upon us, and guess what? GOKU DID IT! HE SAVED THE WORLD AGAIN! :3
Volpe-de-Glacio Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) Not yet. The galactic alignment thing isn't supposed to happen until a single instant across the world. I think it's 5:11 AM or 6:11 AM for us. And no I'm not trying to tell you it's gonna happen. It really is just an alignment of celestial bodies. And what do you mean you can't capitalize off a mixup without meter? j.s>2k or 2k>knockdown is a benefit meterless :U
Milln Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Me and Klein just had a fantastic game of AirMech. I'm so pleased about it I came to tell you all whether you care or not. First, you control a robot walker than can turn into a jet and pick up and place units. It's an Action RTS. I can describe it as versus Tower Defense. An 'Armadillo' is a tank. 'Patcher' is a repair unit, 'T99' is a stationary turret. 'Goliath' is a monstrous tank. So me and Klein are on the left, our pvp enemies are on the right. There's a base to the bottom connected to landmasses by bridges and a base to the top that is not, so it's a sky island. Enemy has the bottom one, we have the top one(Klein took it like a baller) Enemy has fortified this base with lots of anti-air turrets so that we can't fly near it and they have lots of Goliath tanks protecting it so our advances on it get demolished. We've got lots of Armadillo defense at the base with Patchers and a Goliath here and there. Neither of us have any long range artillery to blow them up, so I'm trying to find an alternate way to win this game than going through the bottom and i've come up with crazy strategies that won us our first two games, Klein found his love for Goliaths for the third one putting us on a three game win streak, looking for a fourth crazy tactic to win us the game. I fly around to scout, looking for openings. There's a spot on north side of their base that isn't defended. I make a T99, grab it, drop it down under some trees, then go mecha mode. My turret buddy and I make short work of a couple of their money generators and some of their defenses before the enemy team realizes and shoo me off, destroying my turret. They respond and send a bunch of Goliaths to our base and threaten to wreck us. Both Klein and I go beast mode along with our Armadillos and patchers and defend the base taking very little actual damage and retaining a good portion of our units. After that's over, I go back and put discrete work into driving a wedge into their home base wall. Klein and I try a joint push on the bottom bridges inching up T99s/Patchers and fighting off the enemy AirMechs. That ultimately fails, but bought us enough time and resources to where I make a Goliath, a bunch of Patchers, and a mini-army of Armadillos. I borrow one of Klein's Goliaths and move everything into position on a peninsula of the sky island while he is being an absolute baller defending versus two enemy AirMechs and their units. I plop Goliath down in the hole I made, swing back around to pick up the Patchers, grab the other Goliath, make the section that's safe to be in even wider, swing around grab the Armadillos and assault their base while helping them. The enemy team realizes what i've done, they come back to fight me off but i'm too entrenched now and can easily micromanage my units to maximize their staying power all while building more Armadillos, leaving for just a moment to grab them, and place them back down. Klein comes up to help and we win. It felt so good, just saying. Was very pleased with how we did. You can go back to talking about music and fighting games.
