Anne Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Alrighty, time to plan the August monthly.Same as before, 10 venue and free tournaments. If you guys want to do $5 entry and a small pot for one/both main games this time say so here and I'll make it happen. Main games are:UNiELGGXXAC+BB is NOT a main game because nobody will fucking enter it. If it gets over 8 entrants and people will enter it later, sure. For now, it will not be a main game. If UNiEL can't maintain entrants it will see the same fate, it gets a shake this month because people like it and it's new.We can run up to 3 side tournaments, decide what they will be here. Don't tell me on skype, vote here. It can be any games as long as it's something another local TO does not run.Also, Antioch or Rivergate? Antioch has the cabs we like and they fixed the AC, but lol what is space. Rivergate has the space and food court going for it. Instead of the last Saturday, I'd like it to be the 23rd because it's easier on my schedule, but I want to hear what you guys think. I can make it the 23rd or the 30th, I just prefer the former.

I'm kind of interested to check out the Rivergate site and see what's up there, but I ultimately won't mind whichever we go with. So for now, I guess i'm voting for Rivergate just because. Also, don't care which date we go with to host (for now).

Jackie Chandler Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'd definitely like to see the new location some time soon, but not if that means we won't be able to play the cabinets we want. Maybe we can plan the Rivergate location for next time. I'll enter whatever anime games we run, really, and I would definitely appreciate the opportunity to run another Mystery Game. But if people aren't really into it, that's fine. I would also like to see KoF if at all possible, but if there's something else people would rather play, it'd be cool if we could discuss our options before tourney day. Oh, and I already asked to not be on-call for the last weekend of the month, so I know I'd be available that weekend. If the tournament takes place on the weekend before that, I can't guarantee my attendance, though if that's what works for the majority, I'll do my best to make it regardless.

I was the not-as-good Mitsuru who played sloppy and got 7th lol, I was just curious where everybody ended up. Persona players are practically an endangered species these days. Also I was gonna try and run a side event for P4U at our Mississippi tournament if there was enough interest, but it looks like that idea's gonna be too dead to ask people to come down from Tennessee. Also Annel Frank were you the one I played a few SCV casuals with? And ran into getting food later?

Papstr Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I want to clarify that the 30th would be better for me. Lot's of people at my work are taking off the weekends in August, but nobody seems to be taking off the weekend of the 30th. If we have it then I have a higher chance of getting that day off. Sooner we have a date solidified sooner I can request that day off.
