Next Event Ranbats follow a bi-weekly schedule, so the next event will be Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at Gamerz Lounge in West Bloomfield. Setups and game copies needed!!! Address: 6718 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI Schedule 12:00 - Super Street Fighter 4 (360), Blazblue CS (360), Mealty Blood AA (PS2) 3:00 - Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (360), Arcana Heart 3 (PS3), Guilty Gear AC (PS2) Fees and Prizes There will be a $5 venue fee. Entry Fees- BBCS- $5 entry and $3 league (which will go to the exhibition at Michigan Masters) AH3- $5 entry MBAA- $3 entry GGAC- $3 entry Fees for SSF4, MK9, and MvC3 are found on SRK. Link to SRK thread Ranking Points Placing in a ranking battle will earn you a certain number of points: 1st. 8 points 2nd. 5 points 3rd. 4 points 4th. 3 points 5th. 2 points 7th. 1 point There are different leaderboards for each ranked game. SSF4, MVC3 and BB will be ranked. The top 6 players in each game will be invited to participate in the exhibition matches at Michigan Masters 5. The top two in the Michigan Masters tourney that are not already in the exhibition will get the last two slots in the exhibition. Future Events More info coming soon. The people at casuals don't really play MVC3 though (which aren't at GYGO btw), so you might be better off looking at the MI scene on SRK. Or meeting those guys in person next ranbats. If you're interested in Blazblue, check out the MI thread for when those happen.

EDIT- Note that it will be starting at 12:30, so it will be earlier than normal events. Cross post: Well, I would leave at 10, but it looks like they don't even open until noon, which means that I would have to leave at 11. Don't be late guys, the window for getting there is only a half hour. I won't start until I see all the usual drivers who bring the majority of the scene though (unless you are super late or something). Usual drivers being Lumin, Grendy, and Bear (not gonna worry about when Greats gets there since AH3 starts later anyway). Edited June 14, 2011 by Toasty

Also what were the placings of the round robin on Friday? I need to list them in the videos since the winners wouldn't be obvious just by watching as in a real tourney set up.

I reviewed a couple of matches, and it was funny when Axis said I was "Dropping staggers", I lol'd because I thought if anyone knew what I was actually doing at that point it would be him, but I guess I was wrong :C Yeah I'll upload the vids, we only missed three matches, and they were just a few squash matches anyway, the only one I was bummed that didn't get recorded was me and Jay, because I feel like I show off my non D side the most in Jin matches.
