cookiehours Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I fought an okay Litchi player today and won a few matches. This matchup really tests your patience. You basically have to stop her advances because once the staff starts spinning, that's when the mixups occur. ...If that...makes sense.
Aginor Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 This match up is more about neutral game than anything else imo. There really isn't much you can punish. Little things like IBing Litchi 6D will become essential as it becomes 0 on block and she has no reversal option after using it whereas Mu does. For that fact, there is more reward to Mu mashing 2a than Litchi mashing 2a. Another thing is Litchi doesn't really have very good AAs. She has 2C and itsuuA but that's only far out. Up close 5a and 2a are good but she doesn't get much reward compared to Mu j.b if you are going in but that shouldn't be the case. To me it's more about Litchi getting in. She has ranged normals but none of that really being any sort of mix up. So long as you don't get greedy with steins and zone with Cs and Anti airing properly, it should be ok imo. This was just my experience fighting Litchi in cs2. At least you can block Litchi more in extend as 4d doesn't break a primer anymore and 6a doesn't either. But yea, if the Litchi player gets to reckless, you can just DP.
