SolarMisae Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 You are the master of dat ass, C0R. That combo is damn awesome.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 A list of go-to combos would be nice. I find myself just improvising most of the time because I'm not sure what to really do. I should probably try and do her challenges.
Lythium Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I agree, if you could make a list or post of her most optimal/practical combos, that would be stellar.
Urichinan Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Okay, so I'm in the process of making a Mu-12 combo video, I have tons of BnB's, corner combos, throw stuff, etc. but what I need now is flashy and impractical stuff, like: 6[D] > CH 3C > 2[D] > 6D Hits > j.C > j.2C > j.2[D] > 2D Hits > IAD > j.C > j.2C > Dash > 3C > IAD > j.2D Hits > j.C > j.2C > 3C > SoD > 6A > 6B > 623C/632146C Without the super you gain exactly 50 Heat, starting with 2 Heat you gain 48 so you can do the super. As you can see, you would NEVER be able to do this, but Goddamn if it isn't flashy. So if you guys can, would you help me come up with stuff? I'd credit you at the end for your work. =) Thanks!
BloodyRootBeers Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Oh right; j.c CH > (Dash) :2c > :5c > :6c > Habacan > 6a > :6b > Dash 5c > SoD > Dash 6a > j.2c > Dash 2b > 5c > 2c > j.2c > 3c > SoD > 632146c = 6014, builds it's own meter, I'll test it for the exact number. The first few hits are very adjustable, you can also do 6a 5c, or just 5c, or 2c 6c, it's all height dependant, do whatever you know will land due to the positioning/character, aim for 2c5c or 5c though. j.c CH > (Dash) :2c > :5c > :6c > Habacan > 6a > :6b > Dash 5c > SoD > Dash 6a > j.2c> j.d > Dash 2b > 5c > 2c > j.2c > 3c > SoD > 632146c = 6014, 49 heat think you were missing a j.d in there, otherwise the 2nd j.2c would bluebeat. the entire sequence builds 49 heat, I tried adding a 6A before the super, but the super whiffs, or I'm not doing the super fast enough.
C0R Posted July 3, 2011 Author Posted July 3, 2011 6a > Super should whiff, and yes, I forgot j.d, thanks. Just do super after SoD.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 The only challenge I cannot complete is number nine. Bang keeps teching on the second hit of 6B. I've spent days trying to get it right and haven't been able to get past the beginning of the combo.
pochp Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Is that the 214D 6B etc...? If so, just do 6B as fast as possible after 214D, iirc.
ThunderboltZ28 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Is that the 214D 6B etc...? If so, just do 6B as fast as possible after 214D, iirc. I think this is the one after.
pochp Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 What's the notation for the combo you have trouble with? I can't check the challenges right now.
C0R Posted July 7, 2011 Author Posted July 7, 2011 The only challenge I cannot complete is number nine. Bang keeps teching on the second hit of 6B. I've spent days trying to get it right and haven't been able to get past the beginning of the combo. I wonder if I can notate it from memory... 5b > 5c > SoD > 6a > 6b > 6a > j.c > j.c > j.2c > 2b > 6a > 6c > 6d > j.b > j.c > j.2c > 3c > SoD > 6a > Omohikane Close? Anyway 6a > 6b will whiff on Bang because you're not delaying 6b. After 6a wait as long as possible to chain into 6b and it should work fine.
BloodyRootBeers Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 My tips for that combo would be after SOD, delay the 6B a little bit after the 6A, ideally it should hit him when he starts to fall after the 6A. After that, it helps to do a 9 j.c, then 7dj.c so the 2B 6A 6C pickup will hit. Actually, the 6A>6B should be always delayed slightly on half the cast. @ got ninjad by c0r lol
ThunderboltZ28 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) I wonder if I can notate it from memory... That is the combo. I tried doing it when fighting a friend's Valk and Lambda and kept dropping it on 6B just like I do against Bang. I've been trying to space and delay the 6A differently. I never thought about delaying 6B. Yay I finished challenge mode. Edited July 8, 2011 by ThunderboltZ28
pochp Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 looking into [D] to extend combos midscreen, so far the 3C one gets good damage, still trying to get something better out of 6B and other moves, depending on distance. There's likely some character specific stuff to try out, I might make a combo video if I get enough of these. after a 6C (ex: throw 5C 6C) 5[D] 6A(blocked) 3C ]D[ 5C 6C habacan 6A 6B SoD 6A j.2C j.5D 2B 5C 2C j.2C (5k, can add stuff into super for around 6k) (so far, for 6B, assuming crouching OP) 6[D] 6B ]D[ dash (can gold burst here) 6C 214D IAD j.2C 2B 6A j.C j.2C (4k)
SolarMisae Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) Found a decent 3.6k - 5k damage corner combo off a CH 6A. You don't have to be point blank in the corner to land it either. CH 6A > 6B > 6A > j.2C > SoD > 5B > 6A > j.2C > j.D > 2B > 5C > 2C > :j.2C > (okizeme setup of choice) or (3C > SoD > Omohikane) You can toss in dashes where needed. Does 5019k with super (3690k without) and gains 36 meter (I need to double check this one though..) and 42 after 3C > SoD, so if you have 8 to start you're good to tack Omohikane on there if you want. Only tested on Jin so far, but it really should work on everyone. Edited July 17, 2011 by SolarMisae
C0R Posted July 17, 2011 Author Posted July 17, 2011 Didn't realise you guys where in Hawaii Solar, BRAH. Also, Huey stole my list of combos before I could post them.
SolarMisae Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yup, O'ahu. Another one of the many reasons we don't play online...our connection with everyone suuucks. And man..that gif is so very fitting...though now it's making my vision of you a short moe anime chick. Now, go relentlessly torture him till he gives it back. >3
C0R Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 I'm a Kaneohe localboy, haven't been back in a while though. Though I could appreciate being a moe chick more than a lot of people, my love of the female race runs deep. And yes, torture is in order.
SolarMisae Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 HO BRAH. I didn't know that. Definitely let me know if you ever do visit out here again. One of these days you can show me how free my Mu really is and show me how DA GAWD does it lol.
C0R Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Don't worry, even for all my knowledge, experience, secret tech and huge combos, Team Free for Life still puts me on notice and makes me look day1.
SolarMisae Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 No one is perfect man, just do your best. Mu's hard to use right. I'm still damn free to Mystic's Tao. I only JUST started going to offline casuals a couple of weeks ago after being fed up with the lulz that is online play. So far they consist of me, Lunar, Mystic and whatever random passerby happens to show up. xD Reviving the dead scene.
LunarSelenia Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 C0R = Kaneohe localboy?! O___o;; We're from Kailuaaaa 15 minute drive difference. >3 I now have another reason to root for you and your Mu at EVO =3 Okay I'm done with off-topicness.
BloodyRootBeers Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 C0R's CH j.C into 2C 5C Habacan applied to a 2C CH yields awesome results. If it is a close to ground hit, 5C 2C or 2C 5C ->6C. If it is a high hit, then 5C->6C for the pickup. Also compatible with the 2C 5C OS.
C0R Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 Yep, for future reference you can also get 6.5k~ off midscreen 5b with something like 5b > 5c > 3c > RC > Dash 5c > 2c > Habacan > Dash 6a > :6b > Dash 5c > SoD > Dash 6a > j.2c > j.5d > 2b > 5c > 2c > j.2c > 3c > Omohikane. Forget the exact numbers, Huey needs to give me my combo list back so I can post them.
