Hey, guys. I am having a bit of trouble with this combo: Any Crouching confirm into 3C (Except j.A, 5A or 2A starters) Stuff > 5C > 3C > 22C~66 > 5B > 5C > sj.C > j.D > (d.5C) > d.6A > d.5C > (d.5A) > 22B After the dash cancel, I can't seem to get the 5B to connect, no matter what I try. I've tried it on a couple of different characters, different timings too, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any tips or tricks? It's kinda driving me nuts, haha.

Any idea when UMAD is gonna be this year? Trying to plan out my tournament schedule for 2014, haha. -
I only watched a couple matches, but what really stood out to me is that you really lack the ability to hitconfirm. It's pretty hard to get down, but there seemed like lots of times you were pressing buttons as if you expected the combo to work even if it was an air hit or got blocked or whatever the case may be, and a lot of times your opponent just fell out, or it bluebeated, etc. There were also a couple times where you didn't do the correct combo for a crouching confirm, stuff like that. Also, you do a lot of random fullscreen j.Ds, not sure what that's all about. That's the biggest thing that I noticed, but I would also work on getting some more optimal combos with oki setups, better combo consistency, find some use for your meter, know when to burst. You got this~

If Bullet is in the corner with her back to it, yes. You can just dash up 5B.

I want to! I wanted to come to MAD last year, but it was too close to our own tournament, and money was tight. I'm gonna try to come this year! -
Would it be possible to get the first post updated at some point though? While I understand that you guys have IRL obligations and such, the game has been out for a few months, and it looks a little lacking. Plus, there's a couple mistakes as well, like two corner sections, and the resourceless combos use OD. For someone coming in to these boards looking for combos or whatev, it's kind of unnecessary for them to dig through a bunch of posts to find relevant info.

Super jump forward, and block. This matchup is all about patiently working your way in. When you do get in, your normals are generally faster than hers.

I like it, and now you've made me spend time doing dumb Messenga corner swap stuff when I should be sleeping, haha. Here's a dumb OD combo, inspired by Antiquarian's corner swap combo: (Max range) 2C > 5D > Messenga > 66 5B > 5C(2) > 3C > 22C(lv1) > OD > 66 2B > 5C(2) > 3C > 6D > 236D > Soutenjin > Orochi 6.1k damage, uses 150 meter. Requirements: 94 meter to start, 60% life, back to corner.

Thanks for posting your matches, I've only watched the first half hour so far, but I'm learning a lot! I don't really have too much to critique, honestly. I will say that you tend to drop your combos after CT quite a bit, and sometimes you don't close out the round with Fuuenjin (or something similar), even if you'll win.

What kind of frame traps are you guys using these days? My opponents aren't twitchy enough yet. :3

Midscreen: 5B+C > 236D > 41236C > 66 > 5B > 5C > 3C > 6C/6D 3157 damage with 6D ender, 5 additional heat after super. 3184 damage with 6C ender, 1 additional heat after super. Requires 16 heat to start. SUPER LATE EDIT: After messing around in training mode (drunk lab time, aw yiss), I realized this combo is much easier to do if you replace the 236D with 22C. I'm not able to test the values at the moment though, apologies.
