Alex073088 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 for Rachel mirriors it really comes down to the one who can apply the most pressure either zoning wise or offensive wise(rachel all in the other ones face). What really can change the tide of the match is to have a great read on the other rachel like a frog summon when it isnt safe to do so, or run past her when she throws a lobelia down in the air and hit when she cant block on landing. Or you know a cat chait is possible and compensate for it. Using tempest dailha as a threathening tool to advance the other rachel. Things to remember to are like breaking her guard which is rather easy with rachel. Teching with wind which is soo fucked up in this match-up. And confusing the other rachel by adding wind in your movement can all help in gaining the advantage.

As many of you will be aware, there is currently an unscheduled PSN outage affecting a number of you. This is being investigated as a priority. PSN is currently down. In other words, the gap between each char is a lot smaller than it was in CS, and Rachel actually has good and even matchups in CS2. She probably just has a tiny bit less than everyone else. Btw if you're interested, 2 older tier lists for the sake of comparison (the 2nd one is also in the same link in post #43). Notable chars would be Bang and Lambda who both climbed the tiers a lot, and Hazama who was A+ then A- and who is now back to A+. Rachel was steadily going down as it seems : ( S: Makoto A: Noel, Hazama, Jin, Litchi, Valkenhayn, Carl, Rachel, Taokaka B: Tsubaki, Mu, Platinum, Hakumen, Lambda, Arakune, Ragna, Bang C: Tager -------------------------- S Makoto A Jin Noel Valkehayn Litchi Carl Lambda Hazama Taokaka B Tsubaki Rachel Mu-12 Ragna Bang Hakumen Arakune Platinum C Tager EDIT: Don't take me wrong, I'm not just buying this without thinking about it. But I still find it interesting. I've heard that Arcadia likes to base their lists entirely on tournament results, that would explain the sudden rise of Bang and Lambda (both qualified for SBO several times and placing high) and the fall of Rachel (hasn't won a major tournament since release I believe & was not qualified for SBO at all). Fix'd, apologies for my forgetfulness, how could I forget those glory days. @Gli: I really like the way this game is balanced as well, every matchup seems winnable with both my mains if I put in the work. Some are obviously more uphill than others (Hazama-Bang/Jin-Bang come to mind) but overall I really enjoy what Arcsys have done with this game. That being said, I have recently begun to get bored by CS2 relatively quickly, I just wish Arcsys would announce another completely new game. Apart from Relius, CSX looks stale as fuck.
