6A - Kick Super - dash up - 412 D-C - 6H - Dash up - 5C - 2C - 6D-A - 4D-A - jump back - 8D-A - land - 623 D , then jump 6DD, im having trouble landing the jumping 6DD on JIN. I saw in the tutorial videos that the guy does a backthrow into j 6DD as well. I just cant seem to land it at all. is it character dependent? also is it possible to do: 6A - Kick Super - dash up - 412 D-C - 6H - Dash up - 5C - 2C - 6D-A - 4D-A - 623 D - 6DD?

There is no specific requirement for 6DD on Jin. I always jump forward>6DD him though, maybe neutral or back jumping makes it harder to land on him.

And no, you need three chains before Jakou to 6DD. I think you can sometimes replace 7DA with another 4DA, but it kinda screws the damage.

If you did 4DA I am very sure the same move proration will prevent any relaunch.

It's actually 214D~C and not 412 but since you don't seem to have a problem with that part I'll just assume it's a notation error. If you have a problem with j.6DD you're either: 1) Super jumping forwards or 2) Jumping too slow and the combo drops. Why does the combo not work?

You could do j.6D link without a j.7D in CS1 (Because j.7D wouldn't even work). But the link was much harder than CS2 j.6D and it was character specific.

lol, i didn't notice the error. After the jakou I immediately press and hold 7 to get to press 6DD. should I press and 8 rather and then press 6DD?

7/8/9 actually all work, but most of the time 9 (jump forward) is the best. What I mean is, is your combo blue beating, are you super jumping instead of normal jump, does your chain just plain not come out etc. what happens to make the combo drop?

Question, What exactly is the optimal combo for landing an air throw? I usually do 214d-c into shenanigans but i usually see other players go straight to 5c into shenanigans... so I dunno :\

You can do 623D j6DD relaunch if you do air throw into 5C, if you do 214D~C 6C the proration is too high to relaunch, so going into 5C is better.

So, the relaunch combo with jump chain works on everyone, right?

Well, after jump chain into like... pull yourself in and you do 66 6C, I've notice some players would do 6A instead of 6C.

Is 6A character specific, and if so, is it better?

i don't know the move names. I can do the combo up until j6DD. I tried it this morning and i noticed that it works better if i time the j6DD rather than hold J then 6DD.

You can do just airthrow > dash 6C > relaunch too.

EDIT: Also I'm pretty sure I've done airthrow > Zaneiga > relaunch before, it's tight but doable.

I'm pretty sure the proration doesn't allow a relaunch. You're remembering it wrong.

I just did it now. Airthrow 214D~C 66 6C 66 5C 2C delay 6D~A delay 4D~A j.7D~A 623D j.6D~D 66 6C 66 5C 2C sj.Cx5 j.214B works fine and gives like ten million meter.

wtf. I thought it doesn't work. All dem Japanese Haz go for straight up dash 5C. I don't get it...

It's the easiest combo. It's better to land the whole combo then go for a really hard one and drop it and lose. I'm not really that surprised cause this is supposedly a common philosophy amongst Japanese players. Still, it's good that we know everything works now.

You have to do Jakou loop on Tager. After 623D, 66 5C 623D xN. You do 66 6A on Carl instead of 6C cause of his hitbox, otherwise 6C is always more optimal.

You don't HAVE to do Jakou loop on Tager. You can to the j.6D on him as well.

Jakou loop is more fun though.

True but you get 1k less damage. Although because of how much easier it is, it might be worth it.

You can do it off way more stuff too. Pretty much anything that can go into 623D can be taken into Jakou loop.

Yeah but I meant the full relaunch. Obviously you go for the Jakou loop on Tager whenever you get a 6D/623D etc. hitconfirm.
