Going to update these as I have time to gather information from people’s and my own experience and translate what the Japanese are saying in the wiki or BBS

Long: Never try to jump in, a good Hazama will bait and punish IAD with 5A/5B/5C/2C. This is where Hazama is at his prime. Use TK j.236C to give you some cover. Close gaps after your j.236C is blocked or hits Hazama.

Mid: I'd say this is slightly in Jin's favour. Most of Hazama's blockstrings can be stuffed with IB > stuff. Use 2B > 5B > 5C > JC > j.236A to bait his 2C. Hazama will try to close gaps with 214D~A or back off with IAD to get the distance advantage.

Short: Watch out for Hazama's 2A > command grab gimmick. Be on the look out for 6A. Keep blockstrings short and simple. DONT mash during Hazama pressure, Hazama 3C CH leads into 7k, 8k with 50 meter (Jayoku).

Tools: You want to use j.236x a bit, don't get obvious with it. Best tool to use against him is j.C, make him block it so you get more options, but it's good (xlolxlolx)

Their Strategy: To play keep away, and punish all your jump ins.

Pressure: Best way is to use jump cancellabe attacks in blockstrings to set up burst baits and bait Jayoku.

doing 2C in blockstring is fine since they know jayoku as starter sucks more than 5A>5B>jayoku

getting hit by CH 3C will give him like almost 80 meter and if he gets a jayoku you're looking at closer to 7-8k

best tool to use against him is j.C, make him block it so you get more options, but it's good on whiff too since you still have air options after the recovery, so it works as feints also
