Toasty Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with the info on this game, but one of the dev team members, Prominence, has stepped down from the team. The project itself is still moving forward and we will get to see some gameplay from the current build in the near future. Also since no one posted this, here's an article on palettes (pics of some alternate palettes included) and the palette-making process. I check the dev team's website regularly, so I'll post the next gameplay vid once it comes up unless someone beats me to it. I am still very much looking forward to this game.

If not I might try for one of the DLC ponies down the line. Maybe Luna~ But I'm pretty excited for this game, it's looking really deep considering it's origins.

I'm curious to see how many of the characters are actually going to be used, or if they confirm any new characters.

For those of you who missed the stream: - Pinkie Pie is a strange Rushdown/Charge hybrid, has teleports, and her Super's similar to Noel's Bulletstorm (ammunition has been replaced by Cupcakes and a Pie). - Rarity is a Zoner who seems to play like a slower but trickier Nu. It seems like you can delay some of the gems that she shoots out. Very low health in the game as of now, which was to be expected. Her Super's similar to Nu's Legacy Edge, but comes from the ground at an angle. - Apple Jack looks about the same. Has a new Lasso move which does Midscreen and Anti-air grapples and set ups. - Twilight Sparkle looks about the same as the last video, if you let her read you're pretty fucked. - Fluttershy broke the stream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJC06XGN8Ro

ph00tbag Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Applejack looks to me like she's going to suffer from lasso doing light knockdown as opposed to heavy. She doesn't seem to get much frame advantage from it, considering the whole point is to expose her opponent to her mix-up.
