No Limitz Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yINd1HPCL4E Screw you scissors Ragna deserves it lol. I think there might be something a little bit different about the trajectory of the opponent getting knocked around from 2DD. 2DD > 6DD > 2DD didn't work very consistently in CS2 but it seems alot easier. Also, due to the 236C nerf, we won't be able to do 236C > dash 5C alot anymore. Depending on hitstun deterioration we would be doing 2DD > 4B instead. Edited October 10, 2011 by No Limitz

Really? I can do it consistantly off of grabs, 632146D Fatal, 236C midscreen consistantly. You just have to hit with the bottom of the first 2DD and do a backward jump after the second 2DD.
kenja0 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 It looks like Ragna, Hakumen, Mu, Bang, Tager, and Valkenhayn got buffed while everyone else got nerfed. Lambda's nerfs are extremely subtle and don't compare to the ones the other characters got. The fact that midscreen combos for the nerfed cast have been shat on, it looks like Lambda will be dishing out more damage in comparison. Looks like Match-up wise, Lambda's getting a bit better. The only thing that's going to be looking scary is Bang (Valkenhayn maybe).

Not to sure about Hazama but the future looks bright for us against him for once.

Not to sure about Hazama but the future looks bright for us against him for once. I knew I left someone out, I almost left out Hakumen and Mu. But regardless, the match up will remain the same- didn't get any worse as far as I can tell, just some new looking corner combos and a few property changes that don't affect her approach game.
Yerrash Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Now Hakumen's 623A going further than before, that kinda help him in a lot of situations against Lambda. But i guess that is just it.
hakimiru Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Some character data from the JP BBS. No guarantees on it's accuracy though >w> (of the info I mean. translations are no problem~) Character combo rate 85% 5A・2A・JA dmg100+→dmg300 2B dmg210→dmg380 3C P1 90→P1 70 5C P2 99→P2 98 Blade P1 100 P2 70→P1 90 P2 80 4B Repeat proration 80% 5B・6B・6A No change D series No change Spike chaser No change Calamity No change(dmg2000 P1 50 P2 80) Cresent No change(dmg1000 P1 80 P2 89 Repeat 80) 2C P1 100→P1 80 The information was calculated by a single guy with one credit (with some extra damage values from someone else) so he apologizes if there's any mistakes.
Xie Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Character combo rate is a flat proration rate that is applied to every hit in the combo. It doesn't mean much unless it actually goes up or down. Because the combo rate is exactly the same as CS2, you don't have to worry about it.
hakimiru Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 What does the character combo rate 85% mean? http://dustloop.com/guides/bbcs/systemGuide/systemGuide.html It's just an additional proration value that's character-specific. 85% is no change for us. Edit: ^ Xie explained it better~
hakimiru Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 It looks like someone on the BBS figured out what the conditions are that have been occasionally causing Lambda to have Nu's voice set. It appears to be a bug or something that occurs when you challenge someone while they're in the middle of Unlimited Mars/Survival mode and the CPU is Nu~
toanenadiz Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 5C P2 99→P2 98 Ummm...Does that small change actually make a noticable difference? It just seems weird they would do such a small change in proration like that.
Overheat Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I'd say so, yes. In Lambda's most damaging combo's, there's a ton of 5C involved, and that gross P2 of 85 instead of 92 will make a large difference. Practically, of course, there's not going to be a huge difference, but I think it still will be noticeable. I think one would want to have at least 2 series of 5C's in their decent combo's, and that's not even for the more absurd, unpractical ones.
minlexx Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) Hmm... Is there any thread where someone could collect all new BBCS:EX Ramuda-11 combos? (Using her newly added chains?) Edited January 18, 2012 by minlexx
