Tager definitively improved, still not Potemkin level though.

Besides he's a big guy, and stupid stuff always happens to this sort of character...

5A is so rewarding at gadget that I think many players will flock to Tager.

Sadly we are no longer the low tier hero.

That is reserved for the bottom 5 for now.

Is anyone being made out to be the low tier scrappy yet? Early days still I guess.

Yeah, Tier list iirc is:

S: Ragna, Valk

A: Bang, Hakumen, Tao, Carl, Hazama, Arakune

B: Lambda, Mu, Plat, Relius, Rachel, Tager

C: Jin, Noel, Litchi

D: Tsubaki, Makoto

Jbbs, this was the one that didn't sound too ridiculous.

Makoto and Tsubaki are the new low tier heroes atm and they are not even doing that well.

C tier are try hards and B tier are the good.

tbh, i cant believe this list :P, it has been so long that we have been the resident low tiers, that seeing other chars struggling, and Tager being considered actually a good, it just feels so unreal

hopefully, tager being good on this game wouldnt mean a horrible overuse of him that would grant a new nerf rape for the poor guy

btw i thought that the C tiers and D tiers were doing fine, all of them, i thought that they were actually B tier, B- at worse

His damage is better and he barely changed.

@ Hec: Tager being good was a by product on correcting issues he had.

It feels intentional since they buffed his combo rate, nerf'd comboability of command grabs and raped collider proration.

Ragna S tier? How did that happen?

Who knows. It's either the fact that the j.D changes give him more combo options, meter gain, and corner carry, everyone else in the cast was neutered so hard that his average damage is just that much higher than everyone else, or he's just going on the same old slippery slope that he has in every game.

i know that, and im actually very happy with the changes, all of them are quite similar to what i wanted for him, maybe with the exception that we cant still, fake the sledge

its just that the changes of the C and D tier (outside Litchi, Makoto, Noel) didnt feel as drastic to reverse their placement on the tier list, lol

His combo rate is better too? I thought the fact that his moves all hit so much harder and for better P2 was the cause of all of the damage we're seeing.

I thought it was a combo rate buff but I can be wrong.

If you guys can do the math to determine if its a rate buff then that would be perfect.

It's probably that. Same thing happened with CS1, everyone got fucked while Ragna basically stayed the same, he was high-tier in the beginning and fell down as time went on, etc.

I just refuse to believe he is on the same level as Valkenhayn. Looking at the Valk forums he didn't get any major changes either, and in CS2 he was above Ragna if not the entire cast. Something doesn't add up about that.

Just did the maths, it's 40% still. We're getting mad damage out of the fact that 40% x ouch x 15 is still a lot of damage.

You're telling me that they havent figured out CS2 Ragna yet?

It was my problem with him as grappler, you should be doing more damage that everyone else in the game at the loss of mobility and lack of corner carry and all the like. I may only get to hit you twice a fight and you should feel it, like the CT spark bolt days.

They upped the damage on many of his moves, and upped the minimum damage on his supers, go have a look on the front page of this very thread. The improved comboability of anything you do owes much to the buffed 5B and special cancellable 3C.

Incidentally, is a CH 3C techable as well?

Also, the front page says Tager's Character Combo rate is better, when it's not.

I want to say a lot of stuff concerning CSX Tager, I will tell you my thoughts when I wake up from my sleep.

Yeah I had just read combo rate and the new level increase and combo ability of 5b which is great. That beats out a lot of pokes in the game im surprised I haven't seen it used more in that manner with it being even on block and jump cancelable.
