I bet Relius is like Rachel, Just an Observer, but Incredibly strong. Not as strong as Rachel obviously. But I hope you know what I mean? I just can't ever seeing him take out Hazama...Also. I hope Carl has some new Dialogue, it would be a giant letdown if He didn't. Watching Hazama vs Ragna with Nightmare fiction is Amazing, but this could of been just as good. Critical Edge Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Truth be told: Relius showed up to find that Hazama was beaten and Mu-12 was with Ragna and the others probably starting a battle. Hazama was supposedly "Taking a break" or something like that when he found him because he was lying on the ground when the cutscene started. It probably triggered some kind of thought like, "Oh, Hazama failed. I guess there's no need for him anymore," to which Hazama was pretty much like, "C'mon, give me a break Relius." It was a pretty long conversation, but it pretty much ended with Hazama saying something like "You couldn't even lay a finger on me," and activating his Azure Grimoire. That being said, Unlimited Hazama is even more of a monster than he was before. He's pretty quick on detecting jumps so an approach like that is pretty difficult. He also has a new Distortion where he hits you with a rush of attacks, starts looping with his 623D, and finishes it off with a 6B > Taunt. I wonder if all the characters has a new Distortion Drive in Unlimited Mode because Ragna has a new one as well where he goes from Hell's Fang > Devoured by Darkness.

Urichinan Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I'm sure it can be done for Oki after a knockdown or possibly a 6C wallbound. At the end of most of his corner combos he's at a safe enough distance to do pretty much whatever he wants and not have to worry about getting hit. I imagine the ending a combo with Id Lauger > Naiads > Step Back > Bel Lafino would be a safe option for that meaty setup.

But, he doesn't have the "I'm a thinking-type and I'll throw Hazama out to troll balls while I prepare the ultimate plan" type of guy. I think he's just the "I don't give a damn." type of character...You know, because Relius really doesn't give a damn... Plus, Saya seems to have everyone on a leash >.> I wouldn't mess with someone who could quiet down Hazama.

As for how involved he is with planning, I don't think he's the one planning everything or even actively scheming. Given what we know about his personality, I'd say he's in this because he's just curious. He's probably there because Saya (or someone else) sold him on something that he wanted to see/experiment on. Maybe he was promised to be able to experiment on Phantom or something?. I think I'll like Relius regardless of he does. Unless he pulls an Itachi where he's doing this all for the sake of his family somehow or something >__> , though I'm thinking that's pretty unlikely.
