So I got to play Relius a bit last night and did his challenge mode. All his combos seem to be quite easy but there's one thing that really ticked me off. When doing the 2A > 6B > jc > j.B > jc > j.B > j.C > etc. combo, the second j.B kept whiffing. I thought super jumping made his combos easier but I don't think I got it to hit with a super jump and is it just me or does the j.B > jc > j.B have a really odd delay? In the videos, I don't see any sort of delay happening there so I wonder what I was doing wrong.

You have to be fast with it. Try adding a 5C or a 6D after the 6B to raise the height position on the opponent some more. That might help you out.

They need to be high in the air for j.b>j.bc. Do 6B>5C(2)>j.b>j.bc instead, or 6B>j.ab>j.bc. The first sends them higher, while the second compensates for the low height.

The song will unfortunately be removed from that vid too. :(

Anyway how easy would one say Relius combos are compared to other characters?

Actually the original vid is still up and running in nicovideo form: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm689476

Also, Relius' combos are fairly straightforward for the most part. You'll find more difficulty with him in the setups and pressure while properly maintaining Ignis' meter.

I tried doing it so fast that I started thinking it needed a delay so I'm not sure how doing it faster can work... I was doing it exactly like the CPU was doing it and the j.B kept whiffing. My friend can testify to this ;__;

But I'll do as you guys said. But for the sake of getting all his combos down, I wanted to know for sure what the problem was.

Yes! Glad there's still a version with sound up. So the difficulty lies in using Ignis in correct moderation. Hm, seems like his strategy would be similar to Rachel's except for the fact she has projectiles and traps to fall back on when she loses her wind.

Wow, oh man all his colours are so godlike. Feel kinda bad that I only used the black one when I played him now haha.

I've been using 6,7,8,12,13,16,18 and 20 randomly while playing with Relius, he has so many good palettes, I especially likes ones where Ignis is a different colour.

I honestly don't like a good bit of them, they have too much contrast in bad areas of the costumes. There are a few that I do like A LOT though. So I'd say he's got some pretty good ones.

214A, only +16. (inb4 people say "ONLY +16?!?!?!")

Welp, that explains a lot of why I lose when people block it before I've closed space and I don't mash out 2D

EDIT: 5b is active for 5 frames? goddamn, that's nasty

EDIT x 2: Gonna use 214A more as a pressure tool now, I think. 23f startup, +16/13... if it broke a primer it'd make dead spike cry in its sleep

UNLIMITED EDIT WORKS: Is the second version of the specials with or without Ignis summoned? I don't know moonrunes enough to tell, and I can't make sense by the differences either.

I assume the second one is if Ignis wasn't active.

If there is a Frame Data picture like this one for Makoto, link me to it please :kitty:

We only have a pdf of the pages the publisher had to correct. So no Ragna, Litchi, or Mu pages atm. They are all 100% Japanese. Ill make a quick translation of Makoto's and Platinum's pages when I get home tonight since im familar enough with them to translate (and I still secretly sub them). Ragna, Litchi, and Mu pages will be started on by KayEff when we get ahold of the physical mook. I should get my copy in a week.

Tell me when you finish, thanks
