Most of us just want to get our hands on it before hardcore in-depth Analysis + Gameplay discussion. Until then it just sinks into a NPG love child.

Sometimes you will be wrong, and when people call you out on it, and correct you, don't feel bad. We learn through mistakes. I know for sure, if it wasn't for the Ragna forums doing that with me (as well as my own scene), I wouldn't be where I am today. And Hell, I still got a long way to go. If you have something you feel you wanna talk about gameplay wise, shoot man. We aren't going to kill you for it or anything.

I feel like I've hit a wall with my Mu, that I can't get any better than I am - even though I know I'm no where near a level like c0r - due to playstyle habits, among other things. For example, no matter how much I practice in training, whenever I land a Fatal 6C, I always get anxious and either do SoD, 6D, forget to rapid, and stuff like that.
LuminAbyss Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Two things you can do. 1. Go through a match, and FORCE YOURSELF to attempt to confirm these combos. Don't go for what you usually do. Don't try to win. Try to continually practice the confirms you want so they also become a part of your muscle memory. Try to learn to fish for these confirms, be it at neutral, in pressure strings, whatever. 2. Take a break from the game. Often times, you build bad habits easily if you play too much or too often, and netplay just helps make that worse since most netplayers don't adapt/lag makes you do things or get used to things you'd get punished hard for offline. Try to take a few days off or alternate playing one day, and not playing another.

It's actually kind of silly, whenever I play with people and I try to comment on the games, I often forget more than half of the things i even did while playing haha. As for the second note, it's even more silly when I play offline. Since I don't have anyone to play offline with, - I'm trying to go to casuals set up in the NE thread, but I never seem to get off my ass and go ;-; - my online play really shows when I do end up playing offline. For example, I do everything about half a second early with my inputs, because I'm so used to compensating for lag, which makes a lot of the combos drop. Fight ppl that you know are better and proceed to lose..... A lot. Eventually you will reach an epiphany Silly Nemesis, everyone is better than I am.

You're just auto-piloting and relying too much on habits and such. Trust me, I still have this problem. And so do many other people. And you won't be able to completely shake it off at first. But keep at it, you'll find yourself being able to consciously think and take action during your matches as time goes on. You'll lose at first because you'll be concentrating more on what you want and plan to do, but eventually it'll become second nature. Well, of course your online play would show, you play online more than you do offline. But again, the more you do it, the more you'll get used to lagless conditions, and you wont' drop your combos at all. And you'll get punished for the things you do, and you'll adapt along with your opponent, and overall, it'll be a lot more fun and informative. I believe in you bro~

Though I haven't really seen anything impressive in the jp Mu vids yet.. I also can't for the life of me any Mu vs Tsu vids for CSX...
