I don't believe in you anymore, kro! ;___; Really, though, I wish they'd design a main FF game as an old-school fantasy RPG with wistful, whimsical soundtracks again. FFXII was like the return of political intrigue and grand, sweeping orchestral pieces. FFXIII is the technological game, with fast, modernized music. I want old stuff~. I suppose it's at least somewhat nice to see that they are making somewhat old-fashioned RPGs for handhelds and the likes, but that's not quite the same. Need a followup to FF9, dammit.

Afraid you're gonna have to wait a long time. SE is still working on FFXIV 2.0 which might actually give you what you want if you're into MMORPGs. Take a look at the concept art for when they totally overhaul the graphics engine. But that's still not coming out for another year... In the meantime, Radiant Historia on the DS was the best RPG I played since Tales of Vesperia. Felt a lot like Chrono Cross but with the occasional BAD END.

I wanna get my hands on a Roegadyn ASAP ...but my laptop is too weak to run the game. Orz

Supposedly the overhaul will make it so that crappier PCs can run the game while higher end PCs can make it look even better.

The game runs like crap on low end PCs, but it's very smooth on mid/high-end machines. The benchmark was a piece of crap, though. We literally spent 40 dollars on a graphics card for my sister's duocore computer, and it ran the game perfectly. Also, why is your avatar always so amazing? D:

Tari Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 That's pretty interesting. Both my computer and my sister's run the game fine. She's got an nvidia while I have ati, too. I do disable excessive frame buffering and whatnot on our gpus, though, and we don't enable pointless stuff like hsao most of the time.

The head of the gamer club came over and goes YOU ARE DOWNLOADING A BLAZBLUE UPDATE! I thought he was mad at first but then he goes. I LOVE BLAZBLUE. We then talked about how awesome Blazblue was and how we thought we were the only players in our region. He also showed me his friend who also plays Blazblue. The head of the gamer club played Ragna and Jin and his friend played Hazama. I also introduced some new people to the game I have a friend that is now learning Lambda.
